I’ve been training under Daniel since the beginning of 2021 and it’s honestly helped improve my life more than I could have imagined. Training Jiu Jitsu will be good for you physically and mentally, and the community of support that we have at team Shark is amazing. Daniel is an amazing coach and teacher, hard on you when he needs to be, supportive at all times, he really wants to see us be our best. Joining this gym was truly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

I used to work here and train here, even after my wreck. I can vouche for Daniel. He's very great with the kids and cares a lot about his community. Great 2 separate gyms to you can train at and good deals on benefits he provides. Only hope to one day call Daniel friend again. Moving very close by, Hope to see one day, on better terms. 🤙

First and foremost professor Pinheiro is extremely knowledgeable and professional. Everyone there leaves their ego at the door and create a welcoming environment. I’ve had some previous experience and training but If you’re someone that has never done anything like this, this is the perfect environment to start in. The facility is clean and offers a great alternative to traditional gym workouts. With their guidance and encouragement I was able to lose 21lbs in 6 weeks time and feel amazing. If you’re someone that’s caught in a rut or has let themselves go a bit like I had, it is never too late to quit making excuses and jump right in! Make the leap and I promise you won’t be disappointed. I felt a great sense of accomplishment for completing the challenge they offered and made me remember the love and passion I have for the sport.

We started our journey at this facility about 3 months ago and have been amazed with the atmosphere and skill set which is provided to adults and children. We have 2 boys; a 10-year-old and a 5-year-old that participate in the BJJ Program with Team Shark. The Professor and Coaches lift their spirits, actively engage their focus on the moves being presented, all while keeping EVERY class engaging, insightful, and FUN! Displaying a high level of commitment to customers is extremely important and one of the items we looked for most when touring this facility. We were impressed the Professor knew every single person by name who walked in his front door, and by our second class he and his Coaches knew my entire family by name! Along with commitment comes professionalism, safety, and the ability to communicate with others on the journey for their children or themselves. The manner of communication this facility demonstrates is impeccable. We feel we always have an open line of communication with the Professor and Coaches. If you are looking for an established space, in a fun, safe, clean, professional, hard-working environment that exhibits excellence and helps you or your children exceed your goals ; this is the place. I urge you to look no further, Team Shark is your landing place to find greatness! More on my personal journey to follow in a separate review.

I have waited for a great moment to write my own review. I am a veteran with the U.S. Coast Guard. I am 37 years old and really out of shape. But I am not the only one. My time here for three months of training, I feel like a whole new person. I am getting that feeling of camaraderie I once had amongst people. Being part of this gym Professor Daniel took in my goals for the class and establish a game plan. We then execute the plan. He doesn't push, but motivates to push my boundaries. He takes the time to even small talk with his students, thus allowing me to feel important. Any concerns I have, he listens and change course if needed. He does meet you half way, sometimes more if you show you are determined to meet your goals. He isn't just a professor or trainer, but a world champion. He knows what it takes to be that World Class Athlete, but he can tone it down and help you live a healthier lifestyle. So far I have not seen him turn anyone way. My story is that I want to be a better version of myself. I want to be more active in physical activity and eat healthier. With many talks with him after class, I am greatfull to be here at the gym. I am always inspired to be better on and off the mats. But it doesn't end there. The student who come automatically show support, because they all took the first step. The current students will often pair up with the new students and help with technique and fluent motion across. You will never feel alone at this gym. Even if being alone is your thing, these people who come is like a 2nd/3rd family and will never leave you stranded. It is not mentioned, but there is on common goal---to be better, to be a champion of the world or in our own home. If anyone reads this and is hesitant, I'd say visit the gym when they are open. See for yourself and be ready to be inspired. I was they guy that said I couldn't do this. But being 37 and all disorganized, this is the greatest investment I can ever have (my opinion). Professor Daniel Professor not only focuses on Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, but also he has MMA circuit courses if grappling is not your thing. He provides meal plans that you can use to help loose unwanted weight, and he has the heart of a champion to give back to his students. I see his goal of wanting all his students to become successful and better. I believe that is his mission. Females and children do attend these classes. And sometimes participate in safe mixed gender grappling. He does encourage his students to participate in tournaments around the country. He Professor Daniel's number one priority is safety. He knows encourages to give it all, but also is aware of one's limitations. This is true for myself has he tapped for me when I was in an arm-bar. I explained I was good, and his response was "safety brother". Thank you for the time to read this long review. And good luck on your future endeavors...
