Team Quest MMA

joining team quest is one of the best decisions i've ever made in my life. the coaches are world class and great teachers in general. the environment is family friendly with a healthy mix of people while maintaining a breeding ground for champion pro fighters. there isnt a bigger green flag than that. every time i attend class i gain ground with my skills and learn something about myself. doesnt matter if you are new or a pro, or anywhere in between. you will gain by attending this gym. thank you team quest.

My kid is enrolled here and I couldn't be happier! They really have a desire to see all these kids learning this sport and self defense and it shows. Matt and all the coaches work with each student one on one and as a group. They start day 1 learning techniques and many techniques follow. The coaches here teach at every level so if you're just getting started or want to perfect your style I would 100% recommend.

As a Jiu Jitsu student I realized my takedown game needed improvement. I had studied Greco Roman wrestling many years ago and wanted to incorporate some of those techniques into my game. I did my research and found that Coach Matt Lindland was the best in the country. His resume spoke volumes. I watched his YouTube videos and decided to contact him. He graciously accepted that I train with him for a week. So, I flew from NC to OR and I'm glad I did. My stand up game has already been elevated by Coach Matt's clear, concise, and easy to understand teachings. His teaching method is very structured and easy to follow with lots of reps. He even found a training partner for me (thank you Joe). He is an extremely kind-hearted person. A natural born teacher. The entire gym staff and students were wonderful and welcoming. They treated me like family. Everyone was super nice and did everything possible to welcome me. That was a wonderful experience and I will certainly go back to improve my understanding of Coach Matt's teachings. If I could give 10-stars, I would! Thank you Team Quest MMA Portland.

Called and asked to set up private lessons because my work schedule doesn’t allow me to sign up for their $200 a month membership fee to take their classes. The guy I talked to took my phone number and said he would set me up with someone. Never heard back, so a few weeks later I drove down to team quest and personally spoke with someone and he he took my number and said he would call me back shortly to set me up with someone, and once again never heard back. Personally not the way I would run a business.

I travel often and make it a habit to visit local MMA gyms. Quest Team was one of the most welcoming gyms I've been to and Coach Matt and his family - provided me great care and attention despite the fact I'm new and just visiting and I also got to witness just why he is a world class coach.
