In traveling for work, I had the opportunity to check out a no-gi class at Spa City Martial Arts. I am glad that I did, Professor Jesse is very knowledgeable. I was impressed by his concern for the safety of his students - for one technique, he made sure everyone practiced on heavy bags to get the movements down correctly before transitioning to partners. A black belt named Eric, was also very helpful in coaching myself and others through techniques. The gym is managed by Amber, who was super helpful answering texts when I inquired about visiting and made me feel like part of the team when I walked in (as did the whole team). If you are looking for quality coaching and competitive rolls, you should definitely check Spa City Martial Arts out. I plan on swinging by again when traveling for work.

I went here to train while on vacation. Great group of very welcoming folks. All skill levels from beginner to black belt were represented and the training was great.

Any Black belts at this gym? Is it overpriced for the level of quality? Is it a legit place? High level instruction? How many adult students enrolled? Do brown/black belts run all adult classes? Morning/lunch/day classes available? Is it small town culty? (if you travel a lot you'll know what I mean)

My kids have been training at this gym for the last few months and have learned so much from their coaches. They are always very professional and eager to help my kids learn. I'm so glad I found Spa City Martial Arts!

We love this gym! They are so good with people of all ages, including those with special needs! They make you feel welcome from the moment you step through those doors. We don't go much now due to busy schedules and me having bone spurs in my neck, but I would gladly recommend them to anyone.

Routinely bashing clients behind their backs, talking about killing clients and disposing of their bodies, inappropriate comments about noticing my breast getting bigger are a small sampling of behind the scenes at this place. I started training with these folks before they opened their gym and have seen them run off good people. There are plenty of other places to train in town.
