Started around 3 months ago with no prior BJJ experience. As a female some times starting off in martial arts can be a bit daunting. However, SHBJJ is the perfect place for new comers. From professors Fabio and Caique and the upper belts you will feel welcomed with open arms. There is no hesitation to take time to explain and help you understand the techniques. The gym is clean, all the staff are extremely professional, and especially the Academy Manager Ganga who’s always willing to answer your questions and concerns. My kids ages 5 & 7 have also fell in love with the sport and we all travel from Lamma Island to attend this gym. Highly recommended!

Best training space for kids, they have unlimited classes options where you can bring your kids to train BJJ, Muay Thai, Boxing and Hip Hop dance. Amazing coaches, great facilities and more then that a welcoming environment! You must go for a trial class here as it’s a free trial! SHBJJ is my second home 🏡

I was absolutely humbled by the level of friendliness and welcome from everyone in the community when I dropped in. My kid dropped in for a class as well and loved it.

My kids started training under the tutelage of Professor Caique back in 2016. He is one of the warmest, genuine people I’ve ever known. He’s now been joined by another world class Brazilian Blackbelt professor, Fábio Bastos, who is equally amazing (and funny!). Now that SHBJJ has moved into its new dojo, which is massive floor space, there is no doubt this is the #1 BJJ dojo in HK. One big warm family, submissions & hugs for all.

Amazing place to learn BJJ and Muay for kids. My son always enjoys the lessons and is always asking me when can he go back.
