  Jiu Jitsu is a life changing journey that has helped me improve both my physical and mental health. There are a lot of great schools to train at, but what makes Roll Academy so great is the people. From Professor Filip down to the new student who joined last month, Roll Academy is will of great people. As an older practitioner (almost 51 years old), I appreciate how safe and welcoming the school is. If you want some tough sparring rounds, come to the 7:30pm classes. If you are just starting, come train at noon or 6:30pm. There is something for everyone from high level no Gi competitors to people looking for a new hobby.

  If there was a 10 star option, I would have picked it. I've been training BJJ for over a decade. I've had the luxury to train at quite a few places in the lower mainland. Lots of places have great instructors, or great competitors, or good vibes. I can say wholeheartedly Roll has it all. This is truly a family business. Filip and Val have not only become some of my closest friends over the years, they are truly family. If your looking for a place that will cater to you individually, while providing a great environment weather your looking to compete at the highest level, or your just looking to have fun, this is the place for you.
