Don't be afraid to walk in! I just showed up at Thursday BJJ lunch class, and took a free trial lesson. Instructors and classmates were all super welcoming and nice. All levels train at the same time, so there's also plenty of peer to peer learning. English friendly courses as well, which is good for non-Finnish speakers. I'd recommend taking the beginner package (200€/3 month/come whenever/use the gym too!). Don't forget you'll eventually need a Gi for about €100-€140, but for a completely new hobby, €300 will get you started.

I never regretted finding these guys the first time I came to visit Helsinki more than 6 years ago. It is my home away from home! Amazing people and great jiujitsu!
