Ralph Gracie Richmond is the best gym in the Bay Area, the real Jiu-Jitsu coming from the Gracie family! If you are looking for a gym to train Jiu Jitsu, you have just found it. Igor is an excellent teacher, very patient and with incredible teaching skills and the gym is super clean and organized! I highly recommend him.
I have been going to so many Jiu Jitsu academy around the bay, non of them are close to the Ralph Gracie Richmond, Igor is the best, the gym has the best and cleaner mat! Igor takes care alot of the gym and the students… i used to train in Brazil and i can say… if you want the best you gonna find it there!
Our kid (7 y/o) started in January 2024 with professor Igor, he loves it and has learned so much! The assistant coaches are great as well. They all know how to work with kids, and always make it so fun and engaging.

This is a wonderful Jiu Jitsu school. My daughter (now 8) has been attending for almost two years and my son will start shortly. Igor provides a safe and encouraging learning environment for kids and adults of varyious ages and skill levels. The space is bright and comfortable, the instruction thougtful, and the community that gathers around this place is a pleasure to be a part of. Highly recommend!
My grandson has been at the academy since he was four years old, he is nine now. He has made a lot of personal growth through his experience here. Respect, discipline, consistency and being a part of a community are all things that he has learned and experienced here.
