I highly recommend this place! I took my grandson from NC there. (he was staying with me for the summer break) All I can say is “best mentor and teacher” I have met so far! Professor Radji teaches the kids patiently step by step and in detail of every move. He takes value of discipline, safety, respect to the individual and respect to the Jiu Jitsu mat. Professor Radji develops his older youth students to become great teachers and mentors as well. He is very loved and respected by all his students.

My home gym for the past 5 years. Ive trained in many, many places due to work and I can truly say I was blessed to have found Radji and the team. They’re more than just a gym, it’s truly a home away from home. Whether you’re a beginner or high level competitor, you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for at Radji’s. Great instructor, clean facility and the best group of teammates you can find for any level. Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed.

After many years of training, Radji Barrett Jiu Jitsu has by far been my favorite gym to be a part of. Radji provides a “good vibes only” environment that isn’t always easy to come by, and everyone leaves their ego at the door. The gym being spacious and clean is a plus. Every box is checked off for me at Radji’s 👍🏽

I love this school. Radji is a knowledgeable, patient and kind instructor and leader. The school is inviting and everyone I’ve met here is respectful. As a woman, it’s important to me to learn self defense and this is a safe, and clean place to do so. I encourage everyone to check it out.

I had my daughter enrolled for several years at another local martial arts school that, frankly, did not challenge her or make her experience enjoyable. So, I decided to look around, and I found Radji Barrett Jiu-Jitsu. I am happy that I did. The instruction is delivered in a patient and methodical manner that the children grasp and enjoy. In each class, the kids are learning practical self-defense skills and having a great time in the process. As a parent watching each class, my curiosity about the martial art grew. So, after several years of having my daughter enrolled, I decided to step onto the mat myself. Everyone who trains there is respectful, egoless, and helpful to newcomers. I look forward to the journey that my daughter and I are embarking on and invite anyone considering joining to do so without hesitation.

I was only here for a short time but it was such a welcoming and inclusive space. Radji got to know everyone who attended his classes and went out of his way to make sure everyone was learning and growing. I cannot recommend this place more, especially as a (Muslim) girl in a pretty guy dominated space, I never felt awkward or uncomfortable. One very big deal for me was the timing and Radji offers so many different classes at so many different times I could always work it into my schedule. All in all, amazing place to be!

I moved for my job to the area and was looking for a new academy and when I walked into Radji's academy I immediately knew it was going to be a solid place to train...and I haven't been proven wrong. It's not just a random technique everytime you go in - there's a curriculum put in place to help you learn every position in depth. The lead instructor sets the tone and Radji is not only friendly and can offer unsure beginners a safe environment to learn but is also an accomplished world class competitor who has a tight-knit group of savages that help lift everyone else up. Not an intimidating place to train at all - would recommend to anyone interested in jiu jitsu.

Professor Radji is an exceptional teacher, who created a family oriented environment in his academy. It's a great place in my opinion to start your jiu-jitsu journey! everyone ive met there has been friendly and very helpful from all levels of practioners! This place is amazing it is my second week and I am enjoying it so much. The head teachers are awesome both Mr.Dan and Mr.Radji and also the other people that are in the jiu jitsu place. Definitely 200% recommend coming you won’t be disappointed.

Two years ago I came into Radji Barrett Jiu Jitsu with no prior background in martial arts, and instantly felt welcome. Radji the owner/professor is a master of his craft and a pleasure to learn from. He has also built a very strong, healthy and positive culture in his gym. Everyone is super friendly, and excited to show you new things. Its a wonderful community and I couldn't have picked a better place to learn Jiu Jitsu.

After moving to Central Jersey I was looking for a school that was a little closer to home. After trying out new schools I was fortunate to find Radji Barrett BJJ. Radji has created a great training environment. His techniques are given in a way that can be understood for someone new or a seasoned practitioner. The vibe in the school is great! Always great music playing during the open mat portion. There is a wide variety of belt ranks and body types and most importantly everyone trains with respect and control. Great school and professor to learn from!

I've been training at RBJJ now for about 8 months. I got lucky because I knew I wanted to begin training BJJ again (I had trained for about 3 months before in North Carolina, and a bit with some Renzo guys on the upper west side in NYC), and this was the first gym that I checked out here in NJ. Radji is both excellent at his craft, and transmitting his knowledge to his students. It is very apparent, everyone seems to be highly competent for their level of experience, and also very friendly. In general; this is a great school.

The minute I spoke with Radji over the phone I knew this was going to be a great place to sign my six year old up. The instructors are very welcoming, patient, encouraging and highly knowledgeable. My son is loving every moment and is learning so much more then I could have imagined.
