Pirate BJJ offers a welcoming and inclusive environment for both kids and adults, with a focus on personalized coaching and a strong sense of community. Our grandson looks forward to each class. The gym's approach to training is less traditional and more relaxed, catering to individuals who prefer a more informal atmosphere. Classes emphasize practical techniques and concepts, often taught through games and interactive activities. Overall, Pirate Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a great option for those looking for a supportive and engaging BJJ community.

I had the pleasure of teaching a seminar and rolling with these great people. Seth and Hilary have built something beautiful in such a short time. Great vibe excellent instruction and amazing students. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

My family trains with Seth at Pirate BJJ. He strives for an environment that allows you to develop in Jiu Jitsu at your pace. He offers one on one training and constantly looks for feedback from adult and kids classes, good and bad. He is firm and fair with the kids and parents. The adult class offers a range of skill levels, from fundamentals to seasoned grapplers. I highly recommend anyone interested in BJJ to come spend a week with Seth.

Every part of my experience at Pirate BJJ and with Coach Seth was positive. I found out I was traveling to the area for work and started looking at gyms to train at. I reached out and got a response right away. When I showed up Seth was super welcoming. I trained for the week and learned some stuff I’d never seen before. Seth is a very knowledgeable instructor, cares about his students, and is a challenging roll. There was a good mix of belts and skill levels, and the entire atmosphere was very positive and a lot of fun. If you’re just visiting or live in the area, I highly recommend giving Pirate BJJ a shot, you won’t be disappointed.
