I had a great experience there doing the Tuesday 11am class! My local Jiuy gym is based in the Northern Beaches and it felt at home rolling with the Onyx family in Campbelltown Professor Ian went through 3 variations in open guard and I learnt some very handy tips and tricks to help my Jiuy grow. I’m only a white belt but this is the reason I’m happy to be on the Jiuy journey learning new things every class…. OOOOSSSSSAH

Onyx BJJ is a comfortable environment for all ages. Professor Ian is an absolute rockstar with his coaching and guidance. The community is very friendly and everyone helps each other out!

Coaches are knowledgeable and students are friendly, with a great culture. Classes are well organised with clear, practical instruction. Mats are spotless and the gym is tidy. Thanks for the awesome training. I look forward to coming back for more training.

Really great gym. Professor Ian has been really great with our son. He’s been attentive, streamlined, knowledgeable and playful where needed. There seems to be a really good attitude and atmosphere amongst the children, especially those in the older classes who have been coming for some time. Classes are a little more expensive than some places but understand you’re under good care and I believe the expertise of a black belt. Worth trying to see if it is a good fit for you or your family.
