As someone who has been around a few gyms up and down Australia, this gym has a great culture. Great for a beginner getting started in the sport. Tons of experience and no egos.
Did a drop in recently whilst travelling through Townsville. Awesome facilities, great instructors and welcoming environment. Would recommend to anyone for drop ins or locals keen on learning 👍
Enrolling our kids here has been one of the best decisions we’ve made. The coaches strike the perfect balance between discipline, technique, and fun. We’ve noticed a huge boost in our kids confidence, coordination, and focus both on the mat and at school. Truly a fantastic, family-friendly environment!

Every time I’m in Townsville, I make sure to drop in at One — it’s become a must-stop for me. The team are incredibly welcoming, and the atmosphere makes it easy to feel part of the gym straight away.
The level of coaching and attention to detail is outstanding, easily some of the best training I’ve experienced in the region. Whether you’re a visitor or a regular, you’re looked after and pushed to improve.
Really appreciate the hospitality every time I’m in town — looking forward to getting back on the mats with you all again soon!
