  Great classes and great coaches!! I’ve learned so much from this place. Sensei Jason is an incredible coach, and has taught me everything I know about jiu jitsu. Show up for class! Nishime is welcoming to everybody and I promise you won’t regret training here!!

  My grandson has been taking karate lessons at Nishime for about four years now, and loves it. He also started Jiu-Jitsu lessons a couple years back. We tried other dojos, but this seemed the best as far as instruction, and attention to the students.

  Nishime does a great job with all age groups. My son is 5 and was tentative to start so it was great to have the free week and the month long trial before committing . The flexible class schedule is great for my variable work schedule. The coaches are all wonderful and the teens who help with the younger age classes set a great example. We are so happy we found Nishime!

  Great instructors , who have a great rapport with my 5year old. He can be a handful at times but I love how they don’t mind putting him in his place when need be . He loves coming to the Dojo and barely misses a day. He knows he needs to work hard to gain a belt test …. and I love that belts are not just given. You have to earn them. I am Very satisfied with our experience thus far and would recommend to anyone. FOLLOW UP 6/15/24- My son is now 8yrs old. He has been with Nishime for 3 and half years . My opinion of the Dojo has only grew stronger . I’m grateful for the relationships he has formed with the instructors and students. As he ages I see him learning skills that really shows with his integrity , character, and patience. I can not express my gratitude enough for Nishime .

  Great place for taking martial arts. They offer different types of classes for all levels - for adults and kids- from beginners to advanced including up to black belt and also they have jujitsu classes, as well as age appropriate classes for the younger kids. They have a few different locations. We attended the one on mall road in Florence until Covid happened. But we would recommend this place.

  I can't thank Nishime enough. We held a birthday party today and it was amazing!! The kids had a blast. Adults could sit back and relax while the kiddos played games. And the teacher was fantastic!!! Thank you for being so amazing and helping us to celebrate a great kid!

  This is a great karate school. The instructors don't just teach the kids they really care about them. They always go that extra mile to make sure each child reaches their potential. They teach respect and confidence along with karate. Wonderful instructors, wonderful school!!!!!

  The Nishime familty runs the best dojos in cincinnati hands down. The founder is among the most experienced and patient "old school" martial artists (from okinawa) in the nation, and his sons are amazing in both their skills and their capabilities to share their knowledge with adults as well as our kids. I have known this family for 20+ years and they are every aspect of the word professional. They not only train in karate, but stress discipline, honesty, self worth and respect... things you carry on to be a successful adult. I cannot recommend them enough.

  I'm very happy with this DoJo and I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a great place to go, for karate. The instructors are knowledgeable and work with kids,teens,and adults of all abilities and belt levels. This karate school is also a black belt school for those who want to become a black belt. They also teach Jujitsu classes, for self defense. I'm very glad I found this place for my son who was having some trouble with being bullied at school, hopefully he will learn the skills that he needs to become self secure, as well as learning hard work and discipline which karate also teaches. I highly recommend this place I think it's a wonderful karate school.

  Martial arts is supposed to represent honor but this one will take your money even after your child stops going to the school and tell you there's nothing they can do to fix the problem my son hasn't been there in 5 months give or take worst Martial arts program I have ever dealt with by far
