  I started at Maximillian Jiu Jitsu Academy in October 2020, it didn’t take me long and I was hooked! Jiu Jitsu has brought many good qualities into my life and taught me to remain calm in stressful situations. I love the sport, but what makes Maximillian so special are its members! When I joined the academy I felt so welcomed and Jason has done a great job at creating a safe training environment especially for women. Maximillian is a one of a kind BJJ academy where women only train with women, over the years we’ve created an incredible ladies group, we have all different shapes and sizes and have grown really close but that doesn’t mean we are going to take it easy on the mats 😏 if you are looking for community, motivating accountability partners and a great place to train, then Maximillian is the place to be! ♥️

  Maximillian Jiu Jitsu stands out among the schools I have trained at. It has a great vibe, friendly people and great quality Jiu Jitsu Instruction. Perfect for a beginner or someone more advanced. There will be the right class for you. Jason the owner and head instructor is a South African Jiu Jitsu Legend! He is a great leader and cares about his students progress. Maximillan has become my home and the friendships I have made are priceless!

  My son has been attending classes at Maximillian Jiu Jitsu since late last year, and has learnt so much technique in a very short time. The coaches are skilled and the environment is supportive and encouraging. My son absolutely loves his classes and looks forward to going weekly. A really great technical learning experience that’s also loads of fun! Would highly recommend.

  We have had the best experience at Maximilian Jiu Jitsu Academy! The gym is so welcoming and the coaches are patient and knowledgeable. Our daughter absolutely loves being a part of the gym and her confidence has grown so much since joining. Highly recommend!

  My daughter started training at the beginning of the year at the Maximillian Jiu Jitsu Academy and it has been absolutely amazing to watch the progress in such a short period of time. The team of coaches are incredible and the work on warm-ups, technique, grappling, all of the different positions, submissions, escape techniques etc is amazing. They really put great effort into sharing their skills with their classes. And the even the learners teach each other. The environment is warm and friendly with a very good vibe and the club is very inclusive and anyone of any age or skill level can train at the club. I highly recommend Maximillian Academy if you're interested in BJJ. If I was physically able to, I would already be on those blue mats too!
