Before coming to MG, I tried literally every gym in Dallas. This is the best gym to train at hands down. They have the best people - highly skilled and respectful training partners, legendary coaches, and just an overall incredible vibe. I'd give it 50 stars if I could. If you're new or experienced and looking to train gi or no gi in Dallas, this is THE place

This is my favorite BJJ gym that I have ever trained at. The instructors are knowledgeable and super helpful. I lost the use of my left arm at 18 and the instructors are always willing to take extra time with me to find variations and alternative moves to accommodate my disability and that works with my game plan. The people are friendly and I have fantastic experiences with rolling. I attend the night NoGi classes and the upper belts are both plentiful and eager to help you out.

Marcelo Garcia Dallas is my home away from home! I’ve been training here since 2015 and what makes this place so special to me is its laid back atmosphere while providing the highest level of techniques. As an older student, it was important for me to learn something new that challenges the mind and body in a safe and fun environment. I never thought I’d stay engaged in this martial art, but here I am still training and loving it.

Rob and Kevin are a better duo than Buzz and Woodie, Chan and Tucker, Batman and Robin, Sponge and Pat, ect.. All the coaches are incredibly patient, devoted to your growth, and such kind people. The members are so hard working and a joy to be around. Frankly, it’s an honor to be apart of such an incredible community.

This is the paramount Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in the Dallas metroplex. I’ve had the opportunity to train at this academy since it was located on Bryan street, and it is phenomenal. Physical prowess, instinctual intelligence, and a captivating community are assets you gain by training consistently here. On and off the mats your life will improve. Only great things can be said about about Rob and all of the great instructors here.
