  Professor Bence is an incredibly patient and compassionate teacher. This gym has changed my life- learning BJJ has eliminated my depression and I'm in the best shape of my life. For me, it's better than medicine and better than therapy. My daughter is enrolled in the kids class too. Strongly recommended.

  Open mat started around 10:20 on Saturday. Lots of space. Be care of the concrete beam by the tv. Nice clean men’s and women’s bathrooms. Everyone very professional and polite at the Saturday open mat. Would come here again.

  Professor Bence might just be the friendliest and most kind-spirited jiu-jitsu coach I've ever met. For kids or adults he meets each student where they are at...whether you're training as a hobby once or twice a week for exercise or an everyday competitor he knows just what you need to improve at your level. He's super knowledgeable about jiu jitsu with a good mix of old school fundamentals and a more modern competition focused game. He trained in both judo and wrestling in Europe so he brings a really deep knowledge of the basics to jiu jitsu but as a constant student of the game (and a black belt BJJ competitor) he is always paying attention to the most successful tactics and techniques in modern competition. He makes training fun, and genuinely cares about the gym members. After training there for a year I signed my kids up and they love Professor Bence and Coach Chris. Highly recommend this gym.

  Logic Jiu Jitsu Pasadena is an amazing place to not only learn the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu but also make life long friends. I have been training with Professor Lucas for over 8 years and Professor Bence for a few years and both are world class instructors. They not only care deeply about the progress their students make but also their safety during training. I highly recommend training here!

  Lucas Rocha And his team are amazing. Family friendly courteous and clean. It’s a great place to learn Brazilian jujitsu no matter what age or level you’re at. Highly recommended!

  I really enjoy the environment at ZR BJJ gym. All the people there are nice and positive. Professors Lucas, Diego and coach Mike are very knowledgeable and patient in teaching us the techniques. I highly recommend.

  I was completely new to the BJJ world and have become obsessed since joining the academy! Couldn't have asked for a better group of professors and people to train with. And It's a convenient location, just minutes from the Del Mar station, so it's incredibly easy to stop by, train and then head home.

  Located right next to Reflex Performance in Pasadena, this academy is another great location of ZR TEAM BJJ. Professors Lucas and Diego and Coach Gabriel are some of the world class instructors, providing high-level teachings of techniques and movements. Clean mat space. Great academy!

  Love love love ZR. Lucas, Diego, and the whole team of teachers are AMAZING. They are great with my kid and have a lot of patience--more than I would! Most importantly, my kid has fun and is learning a lot of skills both on the mat and off. He's been doing it since he was 4 and I hope he does it for many many more years. I would and have highly recommend the ZR team to anyone.

  I am very happy to have this gem in Pasadena for my son! This is a great place to learn jiu-jitsu. My son started at 4 there, and he has gained a lot of self-confidence. He is also able to control his body much better. Master Lucas is perfect and really cares for the kids. All the kids love him. The facility is clean and is very big, which is not common among jiu-jitsu places. You can definitely take a little sibling with you and he/she will be able to entertain himself/herself while the big brother is practicing. I totally recommend this jiu-jitsu place.
