All the ingredients for an amazing gym. First and foremost top notch coaches with Santos and Phil who actively compete at the highest level and who are equally as good instructors. All types of members, competitors and hobbyists. All types of grappling, gi, nogi, wrestling, IBJJF, sub only, ADCC. Great gym atmosphere very laid back, fun, and friendly but hard training. Clean facility with mats cleaned every night. Just be careful going into the bathroom after Bobby. And lastly great training music #freemelly #jojo

Bring the kids, and yourself. There's plenty of top notch training for everyone, from beginner to advanced. My 2 children are learning from the best instructors in town. Particularly, Santos can explain the science of Jiu-jitsu to anyone (with or without ears 👂) who displays the motivation to do the work. Feels like a family. Stop in.

This is everything I look for in a BJJ school: experienced coached, some serious competitors, but a friendly and laid back vibe. It's a tough combo to find, and Legacy has done a great job fostering a friendly community. Highly recommended!

Fantastic gym and training. The instructors Santos and Phil teach very good technique and the gym has a great team environment where everyone is trying to improve each-others game. My Jiu jitsu has gotten so much better since joining and I can’t see myself training anywhere else.

I’ve been to other gyms before but when I tried Legacy I really started to enjoy training. Everyone in the gym is super friendly and the instructors really take the time to help you understand the techniques. I can’t imagine training anywhere else.

Legacy Grappling Academy is by far one of the best places to learn and train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I've know and trained with Philip for a long time. He is an one of the best instructors I know in the BJJ game. I recommend anyone wanting to learn or a seasoned veteran check out Legacy Grappling.

I've been attending Legacy for a few months and it's been an overwhelmingly positive experience. Before starting I had no BJJ or martial arts experience at all. Santos and Phil are very technically proficient and have put in the work to ensure it's a good environment. There are also some great people who train there. I look forward to progressing with them all for a long time and I'm looking forward to introducing my children to it as well.

Such an amazing jiu jitsu academy! Santos and Phillip are extremely talented coaches and are thoughtful with their teaching. As a female who is fairly new to jiu jitsu, I feel safe and comfortable. There are many great training partners and the gym is very clean. I highly recommend!

Very comfortable and clean gym. The coaches are top notch, like really really legit and they’re friendly cool guys too (Santos and Phil). If you’re a jiu jitsu competitor this is the place to be and if you’re a hobbyist this is the place to be, your jiu jitsu will improve like crazy. Training partners are awesome too and they have an awesome spread of white to brown belts, the girls team is on the come up, don’t mess with the legacy girls! I love this place and look forward to every class I can’t recommend it enough

If you’re an active competitor, Olympic level athlete, hobbyist, or brand spanking new to the grappling world, legacy Grappling Academy is the place for you!!! The head instructor breaks down technique like bob ross painting… just simple, clean, crispy technique that makes some of the most beautiful jiujitsu art you’ve ever seen!!!!

I love the academy and everyone is super positive and not to be biased or anything but you’re in good hands with my brother in law and my older sister :) Two amazing people. You guys would love this environment. Aside from the positive environment, Jiu Jitsu as a whole also has changed my life. You meet so many good people and you will never stop learning.

If you want to improve, go to Legacy. Santos and Phil have managed to merge a focus on excellence and improvement with the comfort of a family atmosphere. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone who wants to improve their jiu jitsu.

MMA and BJJ have always been an big interest for me. I have always been afraid to take the leap and join a gym because of my weight in my latter years. The team and instructors at Legacy make you feel comfortable and not judged. The pricing is fair and the group there is genuinely there to help you be a better you.

Legacy is probably the best Jiu Jitsu gym in Tucson. The head instructor Santos is on a different level no one else in town can compete. A month training at legacy is equivalent to six months training somewhere else.
