Great place to train! Run by a very knowledgeable and thoughtful instructor.
I had been eyeing this BJJ place for 3+ years, but always made excuses to never follow through. Each year, I would send them an email, inquiring about details, and they'd offer me a free trial class every time. Never went. Too afraid. Well, I finally did go, and let me tell you, as an individual who hasn't had any athletic background or played sports, I felt very welcomed and comfortable by not only the coach, but by all the regulars there. Very experienced jiu-jitsu practitioners here, who also know how to teach and ease new comers in, while giving the more seasoned BJJ practitioners a reason to keep coming back. I've made great progress, and I've made some amazing new friends, both inside the gym and in life. Shoutout to Will, Richard, Zeke, and Josh for teaching me excellent technique on pulling guard and tactical butt schooch!
I have a 10 and a 6 years old daughter. They started jiu-jitsu with William 3 months ago 3x per week. It is the best thing ever. Will is patient, knowledgeable and engaging. I also decided to join the adult group. Everyone helps each other and I have learned a lot. Highly recommended!
