Owner and head instructor Daniel Lehmann, together with his team of instructors, make sure, you get a warm welcome as soon as you step through the academy door. They ensure you get guided through classes thoroughly and have your learning journey set-up step by step. Their mat culture is very supportive and classes are taught in English. The student group consists of people from all around the world and there are always some jokes and some laughter around. If you live or work in Zurich and have always wanted to learn Jiu-Jitsu, then this is the place for you. People of all ages, backgrounds and physical ability levels are welcome.

  I just started recently and can highly recommend the academy. Everybody is very welcoming and respectful regardless of your level or talent. The instructors help everybody to develop more skills step by step and there is always a lot of jokes and good atmosphere :)

  The academy offers high-level instruction that covers Gracie Jiu-Jitsu as a complete martial art and self-defense system, not just its sportive application. Both teachers and students are friendly and supportive, which ensures a pleasant and productive training atmosphere. If you are interested in pursuing effective self-defense the Gracie way, or if you are a BJJ player looking to broaden your understanding of the martial art, the academy is a great choice.

  No doubts, if you are in search of a great academy (teaching all levels, and EVEN KIDS) this is your place. Since the moment you enter, you are really welcome and you can breath since the very beginning a team spirit and friendly collaboration... not only from the instructors but also for all the members... If you are willing to learn the Jujitsu Brazilian self-defense this is your place. Fully recommended

  I had the big chance and opportunity to be able to train at the Jiu-Jitsu-Academy-Zürich and I can only recommend it to everyone interested in learning that great art under very nice and professional trainers. Super atmosphere, everyone is very nice and helpful and you makes you feel welcome.
