Ipe Dojo is a life-changing experience for martial arts students from all walks of life. It’s home to an amazing kids program and technique-based training for adults who want to learn judo without getting banged up in training — all the way up to high-performance practice for serious competitors. This academy really has it all. As someone who’s trained martial arts all over the world, I can say without hesitation that the Sensei's here and the culture /community and classes they’ve built are of the very highest level. The vibe is real, the community is strong, and the instruction is exactly what i was looking for. Easy 10/10 from me.

The new location is so beautiful!! They went all-out with fresh new mats and the same high level of instruction and knowledge. I trained at the new location recently and the space is absolutely stunning and inviting for kids, adults, and youth. The instructors have created such a positive environment for training safely that people of all ages are able to train Judo and BJJ here. The new location at 15 Willis Road is also super accessible too, as its just 5-10 minutes off Highway 7 and 400.

I’ve been training at IPE for 2 years, starting at the home dojo in Toronto, and I can honestly say the environment here is something truly special. Everyone is kind, respectful, and always prioritizes safety, making sure we’re all on the same page. Visiting the new location feels just like home. Head senseis Sensei José and Sensei Ana, along with all the other instructors, are incredibly welcoming and supportive. This dojo doesn’t just feel like a training place it feels like family. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, no matter your size, weight, age, or rank, you’ll always be welcome to try Judo and BJJ here.

I've been attending Ipe Dojo for 2 years, and I can honestly say it's one of the best judo clubs I've ever been to. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about the sport. They focus not just on techniques and competition, but also on building discipline, confidence, and respect among students. The club environment is welcoming and supportive for all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced judokas. The training facilities are clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything needed for safe practice. Whether you're looking to learn judo for fun, fitness, or competition, Ipe Dojo provides a fantastic experience. Highly recommended!

My child and I have been training with Sensei Mario at IPE Dojo’s Toronto location, and I have to say, the Woodbridge community is lucky to have such a knowledgeable and kind Judo and BJJ sensei. The dojo itself stands out with clean, spacious changing rooms and showers, making it very comfortable for students. I highly recommend it for kids or adults who want to grow, learn, and transform through martial arts, whether it’s Judo or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
