  • 1 hours class. The coach late for 20 mins. He said will make up time on Tuesday class that I could never able to join. The logic is if you want compensate, you need to buy another class. He also said he couldn’t have time teach me, because I am the only junior, it will wast time for other senior ( only three of us on that class)if he spend some time to explain the basic for me ( really not because he always come late). I spend almost 3 months on the class and I can only just follow them. He said he is the senior, I was not supposed to give and suggestions(ask questions about what couldn’t see clearly) but obey him only.

  • If you are smart, i wouldn’t train here unless you have a solid health insurance plan with a orthopedic physician, physiotherapist, and sports therapist in mind that you can trust and go to incase anything happens. That is because underneath the friendly demeanor of everyone there, the culture there is actually quite toxic which becomes apparent when the issue of their martial arts students getting injured comes up. At which point, they will do everything to give you lip service and say anything to make sure the issue would go away & not affect them irregardless of your well being. Based on their attitude, they will have zero sympathy for you if you get hurt; even if it’s because of a malicious training partner. That is because ultimately they see that injuries; malicious training partner or otherwise, as part & parcel to martial arts training & something that you signed up for as a martial arts student. Some of the trainers there even take the stance that if you get injured, regardless of the circumstances that led to your injury, is never your training partners fault; it’s always your fault. In the duration of my going there to train, there were three injury cases within a span of about half a year; all of them surgical cases. So if you really want the novelty of training martial arts in the gym of Alain Ngalani himself, get your health insurance plan, get your orthopedics plan, and get your physio & sports therapy plan. It is imperative.

  • I booked a one hour private training session while on a trip up from Singapore. Impakt's team was quick to confirm and I was booked in with "Champ", great trainer who will make sure to improve technique and push you throughout the hour. Easily accessible location if you're staying in Central and well worth a booking.

  • Horrible experience from the first day. Said I will quit and said I don’t need return of the initial payments (2-3 months) because it was my fault to register this kind of horrible place. Then it turns out they never cut-off my auto pay from the bank and I’ve been paying over a year to them. Asked refund, but Alain (the owner ?? ) said no. Instead offered free (?? Really!?? ) training. And also he told me I had to sign the document (no one mentioned when I said i will quit the first day) or I need to cut-off the autopay by myself. Interesting. Oh by the way, they have a smirking & screaming reception as well. And then don’t care if you come into they gym or not as long as you pay. (Also heh told me they have no system checking it) So be aware, if you don’t like and if you don’t want to continue, make sure YOU mention first to them to bring out canceling form. Otherwise you have to go to bank and cut off your auto pay by yourself. I will give one star because of this system.
