I signed up about a year ago and I’m really glad I did. The quality of the classes, combined with the variety of coaching styles, creates an ideal environment to grow and progress in your BJJ journey. The atmosphere is positive, motivating, and welcoming. Everyone gives each other helpful feedback whether it’s pointing out areas to improve or acknowledging when something is done right. Overall, it’s a great place to train, and I’m happy to be part of the team.
Posted 1 year agoHighly skilled and very welcoming. Fun safe place to learn new skills and roll with new partners. Always a controlled pace that meets the challenge of both participants. This is not my home gym but I always visit when I am in the area
Posted 1 year agoI started training at Honor Roll two years ago, and without a doubt, it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Coming from a collegiate athletic and military background, I assumed I’d have an edge—but I was humbled in the very first class. The professors push you not just physically, but mentally. The environment is second to none: no egos, just a group of people genuinely committed to helping each other grow. I especially love that it’s family-oriented—I can bring my kids to train alongside me. My only regret is not starting sooner. If you want to be your best, you have to train with the best. And that’s Honor Roll.
Posted 1 year agoI love this place! The atmosphere is amazing, I got along with everyone there almost immediately. I am always welcomed whenever I go in for class and they even memorized my name which makes me feel so special! I have learned so much in the month I have been there and I continue to learn something new every week. Thank you Alyse, Professor Bruno, and all of the other professor who continue to encourage me and make me feel like I’m apart of the Honor Roll family!
Posted 1 year agoI've been fortunate to train at Honor Roll for 10 years and can say it has something for everyone. Regardless if you want to get healthy and lose weight or if you want to regularly compete or anywhere in between, Professor Bruno has created an environment where all are welcomed.
Posted 1 year agoOverall great experience at Honor roll! The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and skilled, providing detailed instruction that caters to all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. They take the time to break down techniques, ensuring that everyone understands them. Beyond their technical expertise, the instructors create a welcoming and supportive environment.
I dont live in Valencia but I visit frequently and this is my go to place to train when I am here. Very welcoming and friendly environment with high level instruction and students of all ages and skill level. If i ever move out here this would be the spot for sure
This is the training, coaching, and lifestyle that I needed. Not only did I get a proper meal plan, but I was held accountable for sticking to it. Everyone is very positive and welcoming.
I’ve been coming here almost three years now. I’ve done many other martial arts in my life and this is by far the best instruction I’ve ever received. All the instructors are top notch and it is a respectful and fun environment. I’ve also made many connections with the other students. Great place to study BJJ for beginners, intermediate, and seasoned practitioners.
Great atmosphere to learn new skills Awesome support from all the instructors. Welcoming environment.
I love Jiu-jitsu it really has turned my life around in self-discipline. And I got to thank Bruno. He really has motivated me to keep showing up and just roll. If you're looking to gain weight or lose it, love martial arts and want control of your health. This is a great place to start. I will always find myself coming back to his gym because it's great energy here ✨️✊🏼✨️ Obrigado Bruno 🙏🏼
Visiting for the week and came in for a morning class, very friendly and welcoming coaches along with respectful teammates. Very knowledgeable coach with practical techniques shown. Would visit again!
I enjoyed the classes here. I learned a lot and Coach Bruno was very nice and helpful and knowledgable
Fantastic! Bruno and all the instructors are very friendly and helpful. I’ve learned a ton and gotten in much better shape. They’ve taught me discipline and patience. I highly recommend Honor Roll to anyone looking for a BJJ gym in the area!
I started with Honor Roll six weeks ago training 3 days each week for an hour. During this time I have lost 23 pounds and sharpened my skills in Jiu-Jitsu. Bruno the owner and his staff have been so supportive and provide all the tools needed to succeed at your goals. Each professor is very knowledgable and extremely detailed with instructions to enhance performance in this contact sport. Training with these professionals at Honor Roll Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is an experience I highly recommend.
Great place to learn the art of jiu-jitsu. Great coaches super nice 👌 very humble training partners .
My recent experience with Honor Roll Jui Jitsu was extremely positive. Bruno the owner and his staff are the best in the business. They offer a complete program and are professional and welcoming to participants of all skill levels and ages. I had joined to lose weight and thru their support lost over 20 pounds in 6 weeks. Honor Roll makes you feel like family and are always available to help you in your journey.
I had quitted alcohol over two months ago and needed motivation and help with my anxiety. I decided to join honor roll Brazilian jiu-jitsu and it was the best decision I have made in a long time! I decided to challenge myself or test it out and took the 6-week one-time package challenge and have been loving it since day one and now I have signed up for the year membership! as a birthday gift to my self! All instructors I have come across are amazing professionals and have high-integrity just like Bruno. John, Jonathan, Danielle, Junior, Gustavo, and of course Bruno are wonderful black belt & advanced brown belt instructors. Highly recommend this dojo BJJ team. Truly, an HONOR to meet and come across team BRUNO ANTUNES! -jorge (Alex) posadas My journey has been slow but stable. I'm still attending twice a week or sometimes three times a week but I took off for 4 months due to family business and work. But I've been back for the last couple months and it's still a blast! This is really good for my spirit and body. If you just make it to the class you're attending the rest will be fun
Coaches are amazing, had fun and shed some weight
One of the best gyms I have ever been to. I’ve been going to regular gyms for over 10 years but switching it up a starting Jiu-Jitsu was such a good decision! Not only did I get super lucky going to honor roll I get to train some of the top notch coaches! Coach Rich is very patient and always willing to help, Bruno is a very nice and supportive and always pushes you to your goals! So thankful to be at this gym and looking forward to the future!
I've been coming here for about a year. The professors are very knowledgeable and everyone there is nice. I recommend this place if you want to start a martial art from 0 or even if you already have a background in a different one. 10/10
Great place to learn Brazilian Jiu-jitsu; and other related disciplines. The students are friendly and knowledgeable; The coaches are insightful and accommodating to both newer and experienced alike. Above all it's just fun👍🏾
Just finished my 42 days free trial, and decided to start annual membership. The exercise itself definitely helps burn calories, combine with eating habit change and control, losing some weight and gain muscles is expected. But the best part is the sport itself. Jiu-jitsu is something that requires a lot of techniques, and you will learn something different everyday. Although age and agility still plays a role, an 69 yrs old can easily beat me. Learn this sport is slowly building up my reactions and knowledge if I need to defend myself on the ground. Bonus part about this school, is the people. Everyone is friendly, respectful, and helpful. Recommend Honor Roll BJJ to everyone.
I've been training at Honor Roll for about two years, and it's been an incredible experience. The BJJ coaches are top-notch, providing high-level instruction and attention to everyone in the classes, from brand-new white belts to advanced students. Everyone receives the same level of respect and dedication. Beyond the exceptional BJJ training, Honor Roll feels like a family. The friendly atmosphere makes you want to return again and again. During tournament preparations, everyone eagerly offers help to ensure collective success. Most importantly, Bruno and Isabella are wonderful people who genuinely care about each of their students. After I got injured, Bruno called me every week to check on my progress. Both Bruno and Isabella always greet you with a smile when you come in. If you're looking for a place to learn BJJ and become part of an amazing community, this is it. It's also highly recommended for kids. My 5-year-old daughter has been training for about a year, and she loves it too.
I’ve really enjoyed my time here at Honor Roll. I started last year to try and get back into shape, and I’ve had a really great experience so far. I came in with zero martial arts experience, and the Honor Roll team met me where I was at. The community is encouraging, the classes are challenging (but not impossible), and I’ve become a lot more confident in my own body and what it’s capable of. I’m a 5’3 woman, and have learned how to take down guys 2-3 times my size 💪
Nothing in life comes easy, and anything easy is not worth having. This class is both challenging and fun. I have made a personal commitment to improve myself physically and mentally, and I can confidently say that Honor Roll BJJ is instrumental in helping me achieve that goal. The training is tough but rewarding, and I am grateful for the progress I have made both on and off the mat with their guidance.
Great BJJ Spot. Really nice community, really helpful instructors. Flexible with a 9-5 work schedule.
Honor Roll BJJ is the first combat sport class that I've attended, and it has the most welcoming and friendly environment a newcomer could ask for! The instructors are also very patient with you and teach you each move step by step. They truly are the best. The coaches at Honor Roll BJJ are the absolute best, and you can count on them for any questions you have about the art. They are the best!
Everyone at Honor Roll Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is amazing and welcoming. The coaches take the time to make sure you feel at home. They are patient with you and very knowledgeable. Also, Bruno is great; he makes sure you stay on track with your goals. If you're thinking about checking this place out, I definitely recommend it.
I love to practice BJJ here. It is a great workout and rewarding when you spar with your peers. I learn something new every time I go in. Bruno and all the professors are very patient and knowledgeable. They have serious passion for the sport and inspire me. I decided to join after the 6 week challenge because it has improved my demeanor and the way I carry myself in daily life. I’m happy to be continuing with the program!
I joined this Brazilian jiu-jitsu program because I saw an ad on Facebook for a 42 day challenge to learn the fundamentals. I left the 42 day challenge with not only knowledge of self-defense, but I also shaved off 6.9% of my body fat and gained 7 lb of muscle in replacement. It was such a fun experience coming every week and the people and coaches were just wonderful and eager to teach. There was never a dumb question. Thank you Professor Bruno, Tony, and Jonathan for being wonderful throughout this whole process!
Professor Bruno Antunes and Honor Roll BJJ has become a huge part of my family's lives for many years as we all started our journey as white belts. My wife and I are now brown belts! Our son and daughter started first and then my wife and I joined after and we all couldn't be happier. The training is top notch and the exercise is the best you will ever experience as well as teaching you how to defend yourself and increasing confidence. On top of that, the environment there is very friendly. You go to train and exercise, but your not by yourself as your training along side your partners and friends and everyone helps each other to become better. We have also participated in many big and small tournaments and the travels turn into mini vacations. This is the lifestyle at Honor Roll and we love it!
Best Training ever! lost 12 lbs in 4 weeks! Come and Join Prof. Bruno BJJ Training. I feel great on my 40’s, I feel like I’m in my 20’s again! Continues training is the key.!!!
As a single mom who has to work, it was too challenging to put my son into after-school sports as I wouldn't be there for him. I looked into BJJ as something for my son and I to do together. I chose Honor Roll because I liked how the kids and adult classes are back to back. We have both been training a little more than a month, and we both love it! We also love the environment of the gym; everyone is nice and helpful, and the coaches are amazing! I look forward to continuing our path here. Thank you Bruno, Isabella, and everyone else at Honor Roll BJJ 🙌
Honor roll is a great place to train! Everyone is super friendly and always willing to help you grow. The instructors are very knowledgeable and actually take the time for any questions or feedback to ensure application of the proper techniques. They are open 7 days and offer classes at different times. It provides the flexibility to go when you can. I work from home, so running in during lunch time to get a workout in is always an option…and if I can make it at noon, I can go in the evening. Overall, great coaches and great people to train with!
Honor Roll BJJ has been the best experience I’ve had. Professor Bruno is the best and the environment can not be beaten!
Excellent culture
I ended up joining Honor rolls 6 week challenge before I fully decided to commit to BJJ. The challenge was to lose 20 pounds within the 6 weeks while coming in to class 2-3 times per week and although I was confident, having actually lost exactly 28.4 lbs in 6 weeks with the help of professor Bruno was quite shocking when I stepped onto the weighing scale for the last day of the challenge. The gym promotes a safe yet effective way on the fundamentals of BJJ and has been a very humbling experience. The people here are humble and ego is far from the minds of the teachers and students alike. One of the best things I have invested my time into without a doubt.
I have been training Brazilian JiuJitsu for over 12 years and am a 4-stripe brown belt. I travel a lot for my job, so I have the opportunity to visit a lot of schools. Honor Roll Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Valencia, Santa Clarita is among the best. They have a super robust kids program (I come early and like to watch other programs to get a feel for the school). They ensure the kids learn real BJJ, and work on technique, but keep things on the fun side so it's a fun, positive learning environment. I've attended four adult classes in the Gi so far as well as some open sparring time. BB Prof Walters has taught each time I was there, and she is fantastic. Explains the technique, gives lots of drilling time, and branches out to very related techniques -- keeps learning in the same neighborhood for any given lesson. She tees up positional drilling after that to re-enforce the techniques of the day. Wonderful! I've been privileged to train with Coach Silla several times, and roll with Coach Bramer, as well as a black belt whose name I cannot recall, and Prof Bruno Antunes himself! plus several more. Every person I've trained with or rolled with was super respectful and gracious. If you wanted a hard roll, they would oblige. If you ask for a more technical roll for any reason, everyone was super accommodating. I'm 53 years old and some days I need to roll much lighter if I plan to be on the mats a lot -- this school has that amazing balance of family-oriented, considerate, but also highly technical and able to push you hard if that's what you want. I highly recommend Honor Roll BJJ!
The best place in Santa Clarita. Everyone is super supportive and wants you to get better. Highly recommend!!!!
Best decision was to make that appointment with Bruno not only has my confidence booming I’ve lost 16lbs
Love the family environment at Honor Roll! Everyone feels like family and the kids enjoy the time training with their friends :) Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Coaches and Professors really care that the kids are learning and growing in their skills.
I’ve been taking my kids to Honor Roll BJJ for the past 6 months. My boys love going to class and have been consistently improving. The professor’s that lead the classes are very patient with the kids and do everything they can to make it fun and enjoyable. Professor John is one of the best “kid sports “coaches I’ve ever interacted with. I would definitely recommend!
I have been going for a few weeks now and have been fairly impressed. My main goal was to focus my mind but to lose a little bit of the belly fat. All the coaches and professors there are extremely helpful and easy to warm up to. As far as the workout, I have seen changes in my body and feel amazing by going to classes at least 3 times a week and gaining muscles in places I didn't even know if lol. Highly recommend this place to those looking to make a change mentally and physically. Starting off or bringing experience? This place can definitely adjust to the level you bring.
My nephew has been going this summer and we are so happy and blessed to have Professor Bruno and his staff train with my nephew. The results are amazing!
I loved coming here because of how much progress I made in a month at honor roll. They have a fundamentals class w a mix of grapplers w varying experience that won’t smash you every chance they get (even though they could). They let you work and there tons of helpful knowledgeable people here. I’ve learned the most at this place but mainly because of the people. Highly recommended.
Training at Honor Roll is one of the most fun and rewarding things I've ever done. There are great training partners at all the classes and lots of experienced teammates that want to push you and see you progress. The team of coaches and professors that Professor Bruno has put together is a fantastic group that will teach and guide you at what ever speed you want to go. No physical activity has been able to keep my interest like training at Honor Roll. If you want to push yourself and get in great shape all while having a great time Honor Roll is the place.
If you are serious about learning BJJ than this is the place. Friendly environment and knowledgeable staff!
Great environment all around.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has done more for my body and mind than anything else in my entire life, and Professor Bruno and his team are the best I have ever trained with. If you are new to BJJ and are interested in trying it, do not hesitate to come here and try it out. You WILL get stronger, faster, healthier, and have a lot of fun. You can train at any intensity you wish and you don't have to worry about getting hurt here. If you wish to train hard, a grappling martial art like BJJ will give you a level of stamina and endurance you simply cannot replicate with any other type of exercise. BJJ is a difficult and challenging art to learn, but nothing valuable and worth having comes easily and with minimal commitment; you get out what you put in. And I am happy to put a lot of effort and time into training at this place because what I get out of it will last a lifetime.
Awesome bjj academy. Will definitely be back.
Absolutely love Honor Roll Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. My 5 year and husband have been coming here for 5 months and have learned so much. Its a very friendly and welcoming environment.
My son’s friends all attend this academy and when he finally decided to check it out for himself he was a little apprehensive at first. Shortly after he got on the floor he came to me for a water break and told me “ I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this, but I love it”… Ever since then he has been hooked! All the staff here is great and are very aware that they are training young kids. Although it is important to focus on the instruction being demonstrated, the instructors always add a little fun into the mix to keep the little one engaged. Bruno and Isabella are super supportive, I am very glad they found us and invited us to become a part of their team.
A very welcoming, inclusive, and diverse community at this family oriented BJJ gym. Everyone is extremely kind and helpful; I’m very thankful for its cleanliness and organization too. Lots of opportunity to excel and constant encouragement to compete and train hard! Go HONOR ROLL BJJ!
I decided to sign up for the 6 week course and I couldn't have made a better decision. Professor Bruno and all the other coaches are extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable in this sport and it is and extremely comfortable environment for people not to open to new things. You definitely won't regret giving this place a try!
Did the 6- week program and it was so much fun! This is a great gym to learn jiu jitsu, the atmosphere is very welcoming and the people/coaches are awesome to work with. Would highly recommend going here! I can’t wait to continue my jiu jitsu journey 👍🏽
Couldn’t ask for a better training atmosphere and the instructors are great. Signed both myself and 5 year old up for the 6 week intro course, after a month we signed up for the annual membership.
When I travel for work or to see family in Santa Clarita, I will drop into Honor Roll to get some training in. As someone that travels a lot, I've dropped into many gyms across the country and this has to be one of my favorites! Each time I've come in, Bruno, the instructors, and the entire team have been extremely welcoming. Their level of instruction is top-notch, the class format helps with improvement, and there is a huge level of respect amongst training partners. To anyone visiting or living in the area, I would highly recommend training at Honor Roll!
Lost 27 pounds in 6 week challenge. Everyone is friendly and get a good workout in. Highly recommend this gym!!
I have always wanted to learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and I am so glad I chose to learn at Honor Roll. I started with the 6 week challenge and immediately started to lose weight. I loved the classes so much I didn't want to stop. They have so many educated and friendly Professors and coaches to learn from. I love that this gym is a family owned business. They get to know you personally and keep you accountable here to work to reach your personal goal. Everyone is so friendly and willing to help the new students. I look forward to class every week. Thank you Professor Bruno for everything!
My kid joined Honor Roll about 6 months ago. He loves it! My husband and I were watching from the sidelines and decided this year we would sign up and make it a family hobby! We have been taking classes the last 3 weeks and have learned so much. It's been really fun and challenging. I highly recommend Honor Roll for both kids, adults, and families! It's a great way to get active, learn some cool self defense moves, and hang out with the family! Thanks Bruno, we look forward to all your studio has to offer :)
This is a top notch gym with amazing coaches. Highly recommend. Bruno makes time and manages to make time for everyone.
This is a great place for Jiu-Jitsu martial arts I've been going here for well over 3 years now, and I highly recommend this place to anybody who wants to learn self-defense or just learn martial arts or get a good workout in.
Absolutely amazing coaches and a wonderful environment for any level. I have felt welcome since day one!
If you're looking for a place to train, then look no further than Honor Roll BJJ. Immediately upon walking in you feel as though you joined a new family. All of the instructors are amazing and unique, providing their own individual approach to teaching that is easy to follow and implement. Being that I have an unpredictable work schedule, I love that there are various times offered throughout the day to train!!!
This is the third BBJ gym l've been to and by far the best one. The professor is very knowledgeable and makes you feel welcome. There's no cult feeling like other gyms where you are only allowed to wear a specific gym Gl or rash guard. The coaches make sure you understand the moves and walk around giving you pointers on how to improve. Unlike other gyms where they only show you a move and then you are on your own. I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone wanting to learn BJJ or just to get a good workout.
Professor Bruno and his team of Professors and Coaches are great with our kids! We have a 6yo (almost 7yo) and 5yo who have both been going to Honor Roll since they were about 3-4yo. We love that they learn not only the fundamentals of BJJ, but also about respect and how to deal with bullies.
I’ve been training at honor roll for about 5 months now, and it is amazing! I recommend anyone in Santa Clarita who wants to learn Jiu Jitsu to check out this school. Update: I've now been training at Honor Roll for about a year and a half and I've noticed such an improvement in my overall jiu jitsu game since my last review. I've competed at three competitions so far and Bruno, the owner of Honor Roll, has coached myself and the others from our gym at every single one! You couldn't ask for more dedicated jiu jitsu coaches than Bruno and his team of Black Belt instructors.
When I first joined the Honor Roll BJJ I immediately felt like I was part of the family. With my busy schedule Bruno holds me accountable to my promise and commitment. I’m totally new to this world! I understand Bruno and his team have a ton of students but they make an effort to get to know me personally. I’m not just a number on the board which ultimately makes me feel real good being apart of his gym. If I was to go back in time I would of joined sooner. Thank you Honor Roll BJJ. - Mike Arroyo
When coming to HONOR ROLL Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a clean, spacious place to train! High quality professional instruction love coming here always welcoming you as part of a family.
I Have been training since April 2022. Highly recommend for both kids and adults, I Can't brag enough about this dojo, all the professors are amazing, they take the time to breakdown the moves, run the drills and then of course my favorite free sparring at the end of class. Everyone I met from the beginning higher belts especially are always there to help you learn.
Professor Bruno and his staff are extremely helpful and patient when it comes to a student’s development. The work in the physical and mental challenges jujitsu requires and my daughter is excited for every class. As she progresses, I hope to join soon so we can share this experience as a family.
Cannot recommend Honor Roll BJJ enough! This gym offers exceptional coaching and a great atmosphere of competition and camaraderie.

Great place to learn. Great culture. Helpful students. Prof. Bruno is awesome and so are all of the professors I have had the luck to train under at this school. Also really appreciate the many sessions that they offer which allow me to train on my busy schedule. Recommend!
I love honor roll the environment here is so welcoming and it makes you want to come back. To anybody that is thinking of training jiu-jitsu I want to recommend this place. It's a good place to decompress, Learn and make new friends. The professors are great and excellent at teaching.
This is an amazing place to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu! For anyone looking to get into a martial art for self defense, this is the place for you! I have learned so much in the past year of training here. There are so many techniques that are shown it’s practically endless! The culture here is outstanding as well! Everyone is always willing to help one another out and help you understand certain techniques and teachings better. Honor Roll Brazilian JiuJitsu is based on hard work when it comes to promoting. I just promoted to blue belt here from the consistent attendance and work I have been putting in. They are always watching on who is coming in and giving their best! I have had nothing but a positive experience being here! I recommend Honor Roll Brazilian JiuJitsu to anyone and everyone!
Great place to learn the art of Brazilian Jiujitsu. Friendly atmosphere where anyone can learn. Great instructors who take time to give everyone personal help.
Awesome BJJ gym and culture Professor Bruno and the coaching team are all well trained and even better teachers. The entire team fosters a welcoming environment. Facilities are cleaned and well maintained. My favorites are the 6:30 am classes( less people but quality training partners and coaches) but there is a rang of flexible and widely available classes to fit your work/ personal schedule.
Most rewarding experience ever at a gym. So glad I found this place. The people are great and very talented. They helped me work my way up to a blue belt which has always been my dream. I’ve been to other gyms but this one by far is the best.
Honor Roll Jiu Jitsu is a safe, fun and friendly place. I have been doing Brazilian jiu jitsu for over 10 years and in many different gyms across the country. This is by far one the best places to train Brazilian jiu jitsu. Professor Bruno provides a clean and welcoming environment that caters to beginners and students with years of experience. Everyone has something to learn and they have fun while doing it. I could not ask for a better place to learn and grow in my Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Journey.
I am a disabled veteran who has several injuries from my service and 8 major surgeries on my legs after being hit by a drunk driver in 2010, then another accident on a motorcycle in 2015. I have not lost weight in many years after attempting diets and working out. After 1 month of training with Honor Roll I have lost 20lbs! They work with my injuries and allow me to progress at my own pace. This gym has changed my life and can change yours for the better.
Great variety of experience, skill, technique for ALL ages that cater to those that have fitness goals, curious about the art and want to learn, and more importantly self defense for all ages and whatever stage you are in the journey 🤙🏾
I’ve been training for 5-years now and it has been nothing but a great experience. This gym has a friendly environment where experienced people take time to show you moves and making sure you feel welcomed and informed. This is a great place to train and I would recommend everyone to come try out one class.
I don't typically write reviews but this one is long overdue. My 14-year-old son has been coming to Honor Roll since he was 6 and looking back I am so glad we found this gym. He has grown into a hard-working, confident, physically fit person and Professor Bruno and the other instructors have had a part in that; Jiu-Jitsu instills the values of self-awareness, respect, discipline, and responsibility only if the gym culture is safe and the instructors can connect with the students and I can say that Honor Roll has hit the mark.
This place has been amazing for my son who is 4 years old he has come out of his shell and improved on not only his jiu jitsu but social skills. And respecting others. Bruno and his wife make everyone feel like family Bruno has a cast of professors and instructors to help with the kids they have a 9 am class and 4 pm class so it gave me options Highly recommend this place.
This is the best Jiu jitsu classes in Santa Clarita. All professors are very skilled and polite. I enjoyed the whole training experience here. Mat is clean and comfortable. Highly recommended to everyone both for kids and adults!
Great Facility, Welcoming environment and awesome coaches for kids and adults..
Honor Roll is a great place to learn and train! My good friend who has been here for several years kept telling me to come because the training here was amazing, and that Professor Bruno is extremely knowledgeable and professional! I am new to Jiu-Jitsu and have been at Honor Roll for the past six months. The training atmosphere is patient and welcoming and yes, amazing! In the short time that I have been working out here, the me that walked through the door six months ago is not the same me that is here today! My level of confidence, training and physical ability has grown. I have lost weight and am in the best shape of my life! I look forward to many more years of training here! Thank you, Professor Bruno!
Professor Bruno is one of the best Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Instructors I’ve known, and I know Professor Bruno for more than 10 years!! My husband and him used to train together for major tournaments!! He has a beautiful character and amazing values!!! His academy is like a family! If you are looking for a lifestyle change, get your kids started, Honor Roll would be a great experience!!!
I have been training at Honor Roll Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for the past nine years and throughout my years there my passion for jiu-jitsu has only grown stronger. Professor Bruno is an exceptionally skilled teacher. He is thorough in explaining new techniques and is very patient and kind. Professor Bruno's love for jiu-jitsu and desire for others to learn makes him very approachable. I have never once hesitated to ask for clarification on a technique. I am also an avid competitor, and Professor Bruno's experience as a competitor has enabled him to guide me in competition geared training. He is very supportive of my competitions and his coaching is incredible. It is reassuring to know I have someone who has been in my shoes coaching me. I highly recommend Honor Roll for individuals who aim to be high level competitors as well as those who are there to learn to defend themselves.
I have had my 8 and 4 year old boys training here for almost a year now. The family atmosphere they have developed here is second to none. I have seen both my boys thrive in Ju Jitsu but also socially with the other great kids they train with. Bruno and all of the other coaches always have the best interest of the kids in mind and insure that have fun while learning to defend themselves.
Honor Roll Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has the best Jiu Jitsu in the Santa Clarita valley! Professor Bruno is a world class black belt on and off the mats. This is a great place to train as an individual, family, or for your kids. Bruno has the right attention to detail and patience for all practitioners (beginners, advanced, kids, women) you name it Honor Roll has the right program for you. Personally, I have trained here at Honor Roll for almost 10 years from my white belt to my black belt and have met amazing people / training partners. My oldest son trains in Bruno’s kids anti-bullying program and he absolutely loves it. My sister also trains here in the womens program and loves it. Every program from the kids to womens to beginners/advanced gi and no gi programs there’s a program that will fit your specific need and goal. I have seen incredible weight loss from beginners who joined Bruno’s specific weight loss program to kid world champs that started in the kids program to women champs and adult beginner and advanced champs all under the careful instruction of professor Bruno. If you, a friend, or someone in your family is looking to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, look no further Honor Roll BJJ is the right place for you. See you on the mats!
I am a hobbiest BJJ purple belt that has been with Honor Roll for the past 8 years or so. Bruno takes good care of his students and has taught me alot over the years. In my opinion I believe that he has accomplished bringing a real sense of community to the gym. I've met alot of simply good people through this gym and they come from all different backgrounds. Lawyers, Medical, Law Enforcement, Coaches, Architects, Engineers, Students you name it. I have to say that I've learned alot on and off the mats from my training partners. Great gym really for anyone. I plan on being here for many more years.
Training at Honor Roll Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has greatly impacted my life. Not only has learning Jiu-Jitsu helped me feel more confident it has also taught me to be disciplined and work hard to achieve my goals. The service and care is excellent. I have been a student under Professor Bruno for over 10 years and my experience has been nothing but excellent. He is a great teacher! I highly recommend Honor Roll Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to anyone looking to try Jiu-Jitsu.
Been training with Professor Bruno and his team of high quality black-belt instructors for over six months now. Liked it so much I signed my kids up. I highly recommend this training studio.
Professor Bruno is a world class instructor and athlete. I highly recommend Honor Bjj. I’m a Black Belt in Jiu Jitsu and if I lived in Santa Clarita, I’d be training with him often! 5 stars all day!
I started at this gym in January a total newbie to jiu-jitsu. Professor Bruno was very friendly and took the time to show me some moves without getting frustrated. All the people I have trained with at this gym are really cool, it's competitive, a great workout, and top notch instruction. If you're on the fence about trying out Jiu-Jitsu come in for a class and give it a go! Thank you Professor Bruno and to your staff! -Sean
People matter. Myself and 3 kids have been here for several years. We keep coming back because we look forward to seeing the other members and professors. Totally chill atmosphere if you like that, and we do. Classes prioritize fundamentals of BJJ but high level details when you are ready for them.
My littles (age 9 and 4) have been members of Professor Bruno’s Honor Roll JiuJitsu for 8 weeks. They absolutely love it! They have already started learning life long morals and skills. I feel confident that their techniques have grown already in such a short time. We love being part of this family and are excited to watch our children grow!
I was looking for a place to enter my 3 year old son in something that will help him in the future with defending him safely and be respectful and I found this spot and I am glad I did. Professor Bruce is very caring and encouraging. My son loves going and we all look forward to it twice a week. If you are looking for a good activity to put your son or daughter in to teach them how to defend them selves from bullies...... honor roll is the place for you! Give it a chance, you won't regret it!
Horrible service. The business owner is very rude and unprofessional. Plus, they're overpriced. They don't teach their students how to roll well. 0 out of 5 stars. Would not recommend. Take business elsewhere
Horrible! Bruno does not know when to stop. Kept on calling/texting me to join even after I told him several times I was no longer interested!
