Our son is enrolled in the kids program and loves it! Instructor Jordan provides a safe and friendly environment. He has great patience with the kids and makes learning Jiu-jitsu fun. Will definitely recommend to family and friends!

This studio is a hidden gem! We absolutely love Grassroots. My husband attends the adult classes and 3/4 of my kids attend the youth classes. It is worth every cent. My husband comments that he is more flexible (the man can’t touch his toes, so this is significant) and has increased strength, and my kids love learning their new skills. I also feel it helps one of my children with their ADHD. It really helps him focus and I see him use this skill outside of class. Jordan, the owner/instructor, might be the most patient person I have ever met. He can effectively teach a mat-ful of children and command their attention without ever raising his voice. The kids love learning from him! An added bonus that keeps my kids excited are the constant bonuses like a Halloween party, babysitting nights, belt promotion ceremonies, etc. Could not recommend Grassroots more!

Was looking for something to get my 4yo old son into, i found jordan and grassroots jujitsu and fitness, and now its all my son talks about! He always asking if it’s time to go to his jujitsu ! If your looking for a friendly and safe environment grassroots jujitsu is that!

New member here. I’ve kept my eye on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu the last few years and finally decided to give it a go. After being indoctrinated into the art by a friend at another dojo, I was referred to Grassroots and Professor Jordan. This is a new dojo and I’m thoroughly enjoying the small class format while I’m still learning the basics. Professor Jordan has made a very impressive and clean facility, which matches his teaching style. His love for the art and sport really shines through when he teaches and how he applies it to relevant situations and professions. I can’t wait to go back for some more!

Grass Roots is the best. Hands down. Jordan is a great teacher and has the patience of a saint. The sense of community is next to none and it is bully/ego free. My son is somewhat new and he looks forward to going to all three classes offered during the week (M,W,F). I can already see his confidence growing. I highly recommend it!
