  Awesome place, instructors, and students! Everyone is very friendly and family oriented and very skilled at what they do. Good place for the whole family. Kids love the kids classes and learn a lot more than Jiu Jitsu/self defense. They learn life lessons about health, responsibility, character, etc. etc. The Gracie University gyms have the best curriculum and environment for Jiu Jitsu, beginners to advanced, hands down!

  I'm a new member to Gracie Jiu Jitsu North Phoenix but very happy to be here! Cecil and Sean are very patient, thorough, and professional teachers. I very much enjoy the structured learning environment and being able to watch the lesson I'm about to take before going to class to help solidify the training. The other students there are great as well and are great training partners!

  This is my 3rd BJJ gym and I am proud to call this home. They really focus on the fundamentals when you first start, but they know how to make the fundamentals fun. I have been doing BJJ off and on for a few years and I have learned more here in a few months than I have my entire time doing BJJ. The instructors here are top notch and genuinely care about your success and will make sure you understand everything and are very open to questions or explaining things more in depth. On top of this, the other people that go here are super cool. You get integrated into the family very quick. I’m glad I found them and started going and I highly recommend you come check them out!

  I’ve been training here almost a year now, and I’m so glad this is the place I came, to learn the Art of Jui Jitsu! Sean and Cecil have a wealth of knowledge and I’m excited to come to class and learn something new everyday. Perfect for beginners. Perfect for kids. This place is great.
