Coach Roger and Coach Abel are kind and patient individuals who wish to see kids succeed and foster relationships with them to help in the development as young jiu jitsu students. We are thankful for their guidance of our student and their investment in his growth and learning
This school is great! You start learning techniques in classes immediately and are made to feel safe while learning. The coaches are friendly and incredibly helpful. You don’t have to worry about being thrown to the wolves and possibly hurt when you’re first starting out. All the classes, from kids to women’s self defense to combatives to master cycle, have been amazing! Our entire family, parents and children, have been taking classes for over a year and look forward to many years to come!
Great dojo all the coaches are very helpful and friendly!
My wife and I brought our daughter to BJJ to get the discipline and values that I believe jiu-jitsu instills, if taught by the right people. Coaches Roger and Abe are phenomenal. I did my research and selected Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Fresno. I will say we have been here almost since day one of opening when there was only a few students, next month marks a year for us, staff and students are all still here and class has just grown and grown. I highly recommend.
I always have a good time in class at Gracie, it's a very positive, supportive experience that makes learning jiu-jitsu enjoyable.
Very welcoming environment and beginner friendly. They break down the techniques step-by-step and the instructors care about your success.
My son really looks forward to each class and is learning fairly quickly. Great knowledgeable and supportive coaches!
Great and safe learning environment for all ages. The coaches and staff are very friendly and inviting. The kids always have fun in classes and i like that the focus of the school is self defense based. Its been a great experience for us
I come from a military background and have sought a school with structure and quality instruction. This gym not only provides that, but the instructors have a kindness about them that is overwhelmingly welcoming. I will NEVER recommend any other gym in the Central Valley besides the Gracie Jiu Jitsu gym because my experience here has been top notch! Don’t waste your time or money anywhere else, ESPECIALLY if you have little kids. Their kids program is incredible and I can’t wait to finally get my child involved once she’s old enough.
