  One of the highlights of being with Gracie Barra is that you can train at any GB. Here in Vancouver for work and dropped by for a GB1 class. Such a lovely warm welcome and a great class. Thank you all and hoping to come by at least once more before heading back to GB Dundee (Scotland). If you're in Scotland please do drop in! #GBFamily

  My son has been training there for almost a year now and he loves it. The coaches are so great with the kids. The front desk staff is also friendly. They also have an after school pick up program which we didn’t need but it should be very convenient for families who live in the neighbourhood. Taking a star away just coz when we first signed up no one really gave us an intro. We didn’t find out about the sign in card at the beginning of every class till like a month into the program.

  Amazing gym!!! We have been coming to GB Vancouver since late 2022. Our son absolutely loves his friends and coaches. All the coaches are amazing, I honestly can't speak highly enough of them. Amazing mentors for my little man. Even the older kids who are junior coaches, are such an amazing influence on our 4 year old. He truly looks up to them. We also participate in the after-school program, which is literally the best thing ever. In world where there is so much negativity, GB is a ray of sunshine and a safe space for my son, and that is priceless. I am so thankful for the GB Vancouver Team.

  I tried several times to join this gym. Starting with taking their free intro class. After booking I arrived to the class for it to seem like no employees had any idea that I booked it and was scheduled to be there. I explained myself to the coach who didn’t seem to understand. If I wasn’t already familiar with other Gracie Barra gyms and judo this would have been an extremely terrible first experience. After the session I went to look for the coach to discuss signing up but couldn’t find the coach. Trying to follow up I went to use the numerous email links which would only lead to “404 page not found”. When one link finally worked to schedule a coach consultation via zoom I decided to sign up for a call. The date for my call arrives only for me to sit in the zoom call waiting for the coach to join. I sat in the call for 10 minutes for no one to show up. After all this I will be making zero attempts to drop in or join this gym.

  Had a parent and child trial session (I struggled more than the kids!) Absolutely brilliant. Facilities were clean, staff friendly and accessible parking Coach Raphael made the whole experience incredible. Managed to keep my 4 year old son engaged whilst also teaching him techniques that he’s using on me at home currently . My only question is do I drive 35 mins to have this Coach Raphael or go to the nearest branch 15 mins away from home! Thank you to the whole team there for making mine and my sons first ju jitsu experience one that we want to experience again
