You couldn’t find a more friendly and welcoming community than here. The level of BJJ taught here is second to none, if you want to learn high level BJJ from a world class instructor this is your place!

My two kids have trained here for 4 years and I cannot thank the instructors enough for what they’ve done to welcome my boys and grow their self confidence and love of BJJ and pushing themselves athletically. As 50+ year old Dad I am grateful that my kids convinced me to step onto the mats and give it a try - 3 years later I’m as into it as they are and train 3 times a week! Aside from the physical fitness and skills I’ve developed over the years, it’s the friendships I’ve made on the mats that are truly special. This year Professor Junior took over and is taking the gym to new heights - his passion for BJJ is infectious and his teaching is technical and transformative! I wish I could train here every day.

New Professor Junior Chavez working on helping Aydon-Lee prepare for Worlds in the USA. He is from the "Otavio Sousa" and "Victor Estima" training camp, so multiple times world champions gym. It's truly a world class competition training experience right here in Noosa. HUGE game changer if you're a competitor. Amazing technical experience. Depth of knowledge is 10/10. Multiple Black belts and coaches with elite competition experience both as competitors and coaches. Cannot recommend this gym enough.

Gracie Barra Noosa is truly a premium Jiu-Jitsu academy with an amazing atmosphere for both adults and children. My daughter and I have been training there for many years and it has always felt like a second family to us. The environment is safe, welcoming and built on respect, discipline and strong values. The professors are excellent — professional, patient and genuinely passionate about helping everyone improve, no matter their age or experience level. What makes this academy special is the community. Everyone supports each other and there is a real sense of unity on and off the mats. It is one of the best places for children to build confidence, discipline and friendships in a safe environment. Highly recommended for anyone looking for high-level Jiu-Jitsu, a positive atmosphere and an incredible community.

My daughter and son have both been going to Gracie Barra Noosa for over a year. The coaches are all fantastic. Professor Fabio is great with kids and is giving them skills that will last a lifetime. It has been great to see my kids BJJ progress and their confidence build. There is a positive, nurturing atmosphere and my kids always look forward to going.

⭐️ 1 Star Very disappointed with my experience with this place. The communication has been extremely poor, and getting a response or having issues properly addressed has been incredibly frustrating. What made the situation even worse was that payments continued to be taken even while my son was in hospital. Given the circumstances, I expected some understanding, communication and flexibility, but unfortunately that was not my experience. I have tried to communicate with them about the situation, but the lack of communication has been extremely disappointing. When you are dealing with a serious family situation, the last thing you need is the added stress of chasing a business for answers while payments continue to come out. I would strongly recommend improving communication and showing more consideration for customers dealing with difficult circumstances.
