  As an adult it was pretty intimidating to start. Especially when certain gyms are out causing trouble and acting tough. Since day one at Gracie Barra it’s been a great environment. Everyone has been so nice and helpful. My 7yr old daughter loves it too but for adults, I couldn’t recommend this gym more. There are a lot of us in our 40’s, newcomers are in good hands.

  Great programs & facility! My daughter struggled with finding something she likes & she LOVES the program! Great lessons on attitude, hard work & awesome team/group positivity. Excellent physical activity for the kids at a well priced option. She is learning early Jiu Jitsu skills & loves it.

  The coaches are wonderful and patient, although I would've like to have seen more structure and expectations placed on the kids in class to make it a more beneficial learning space for everyone. At times it could feel like extreme chaos in the younger kids group (not the youngest group, but the 6-9 year olds). Overall, a fantastic facility, fantastic staff and a wonderful experience for your child to get active and learn new beneficial skills!

  I can’t recommend Gracie Barra enough. I look forward to coming to class every time. Clean facilities, awesome friendly and knowledgeable professor and coaches. The students are kind and welcoming and that comes from the top down. Myself and my kids train here and it’s the best thing we’ve ever done. Do yourself a favour and start today! I drive from an hour away and it’s worth it every time. I can’t wait for my next class. Thank you Gracie Barra Lethbridge! OSS!

  I am very impressed and grateful for this dojo. My shy 6yr old daughter is demonstrating confidence and a huge desire to attend classes. Her attitude has been noticeably better over the last 4 weeks of attending. Admittedly she has not learned anything as far as self defence but the benefits of her age group classes has been so much better than I was expecting. She went from being scared to get in the mat to looking forward to it every day. I can’t give anything but a 5 star review for how this has helped her.
