  Such a great BJJ school with top class instruction and lots of great training partners. Something for everyone as it is welcoming to beginners but also lots of upper belts. Always tough rolls but everyone super nice and friendly.

  I like it here a lot: clean place, great schedule, great teachers and the atmosphere is fantastic. I came back after many many years to the sport, and the club has been supportive, friendly and lots of good people to learn from. The instructors are phenomenal and so are the classmates. Higher belts always help me out, so it’s easier to keep motivated. Great martial arts studio and high level BJJ.

  Gracie Barra is a wonderful gym and community. My son Carmen is in the after-school care program and absolutely loves going to class. He has made many friends through the Gracie Barra community. The instructors are very knowledgeable and humble while the environment is welcoming. Jiujitsu makes me happy every time I go. 5 glowing stars.

  The Coaches/Instructors are great, caring and create an inclusive space for people of all levels (from those who are beginners to the most advanced black belts) to thrive. It's amazing watching people who only recently joined the gym gain confidence in their skills and life in general. The services provided by the Team at Gracie Barra are fantastic and I highly recommend dropping by their Kits location.

  Great place to train, to learn, to enjoy the great community. Coaches and Professors are knowledgeable, professional, fun, and delivering great classes for anyone. On top of that, Gracie Barra Kitsilano provides ultimate safest place for children to train and to learn jiu-jitsu techniques. My 2 boys and I train here! Great place to learn self defense, self awareness, and bonding with team mates create a long term brotherhood/sisterhood.
