  I spent a month here training with Thelmo and you can feel his passion for jiu Jitsu completely. A friend who was a complete beginner came and even though Thelmo knew he wouldn’t be coming to more than one class, he gave him a ton of time and attention to help him. The gym is clean, instruction is great, and the training partners are all very welcoming. Would recommend to anyone who is in town looking to train

  Perfect school to practice jiu-jitsu. The teacher is very nice and attentive. Gym with a lot of respect, discipline and good work. Highly recommended, they also have classes for children with their anti-bullying program. I am in love with this center and the type of jiu jitsu they teach. I recommend you try

  A great academy to learn Brazilian jiu jitsu from a great instructor Thelmo. The facilities are impeccable and very clean. Thelmo adapts the teaching to the level of the group in front of him and is phenomenal at teaching the children. In classes for children he puts a lot of emphasis on self-defense and teaches them techniques that are 100% efficient in truly dangerous situations. And most importantly: he constantly reminds students to have respect for their classmates (be careful with the little ones/weak ones) when practicing the techniques. The philosophy of Gracie schools is clearly visible to all students before stepping on the mat. In the older classes there is a wide spectrum of levels and everyone strives to help you improve your "game". All this makes this academy a clean, safe and respectful place where you can train an effective combat system from the hand of a great teacher. Highly recommended.
