Our boys love Gladiator. We tried the more expensive name brand Jiu Jitsu and you won't get the attention and quality time you get from Gladiator. The Professor and coaches really care and take time to teach the kids and make sure they are learning the moves and grasping the concepts. It is truly a family atmosphere because you can just feel that they care about every family that trains here. I would highly recommend training here. Whether you are a young child, teen, or adult, you will benefit greatly from Gladiator!

My son had been training at Gladiator Jiu Jitsu Family for a little over a year now and it has been such a rewarding experience. Not only is he growing physically but he is growing mentally as well. The coaches are professional and have reinforced the discipline we try to instill in him. I especially enjoy that the coaches are attentive after class as the children are getting picked up. There is usually someone out there to make sure everyone gets picked up and in the event that a parent is delayed they escort the children back inside. It’s the small things that make this facility special and i would recommend giving them a chance to show your child or even yourself that you’re capable.

We love this place. They are super professional, friendly, It's easy going. The age group that we are enrolled in is so fun. They learn something and get some exercise (NO SCREENS), it's essentially like educational playtime. Our kid loves it! If we could afford for the entire family to enroll in these classes we would do it in a heartbeat. These people are just great and they have classes for ages 4 and up so there's something for just about everybody

My 8 year old son tried a free class and immediately was asking to sign up. I don’t have to make him go multiple times a week, he wants to go. I love that he loves it and hope it sticks with him. The kids in the class all have a fun energy and the instructors make it fun for the kids. Lecture time isn’t too much and keeps the kids engaged.

If you have been considering putting your child in Jiu Jitsu, this is the place to go! The family that owns the studio (Ken and Michelle) are amazing!they have two younger children which makes for a great family friendly environment. The coaches are great at motivating your children to do their best while holding them accountable and working on listening, discipline, etc. The class structure is great- stretches, drills, instruction, sparring, and it always ends with a fun activity. The only reason we had to leave was due to a move out of state. The process to cancel was easy (we did month to month). Highly recommended!

I have been training at Gladiator Jiu Jitsu Family for two years and I absolutely love it! I love the environment and the diversity on the matts if you’re looking for self defense they got you, if you’re looking to compete they got you, if you’re looking for a family friendly facility for your kids they got you! This place has produced some of the greatest (life long) friends I’ve met! Professor Kenneth cares overall about the well being of his students and has shown through his actions how much he cares about us! Coach Michael goes above and beyond coaching students at tournaments, hosting ninja nights for the kids so they can have fun & much more The other coaches Kevin, Justin and Marvin are also amazing coaches and are willing to teach you if you’re struggling with the moves (I’ve been training for two years and they are still willing to help me when I struggle) Overall an amazing business with amazing family ethics filled with amazing students!

I walked in nervous, not knowing exactly what Brazilian Jiu jitsu was about, concerned I wouldn't be able to physically complete the class. However, Professor Ken is knowledgeable and has a great teaching style, that put me at ease right away. The coaching staff are super friendly. Michelle and Professors Ken are the best. Michelle is very welcoming and takes her time with explaining the different programs they offer. My daughter had been bullied for a couple years when her father and I decided it was time to make some changes. We looked at a couple of locations and all of the other locations were too pushy. We decided on Caverinha because the staff is just so welcoming, they make the parents and children feel like family. They didn’t push us into a sale, they wanted to make sure it was something our daughter actually wanted. Now we are 9 months in and we still feel like family. I recommend CJJ to anyone looking at facilities Michelle and Ken will make you feel welcome.

This place teaches legit Jiu Jitsu, no nonsense. The studio is very family oriented, lots of families training together (kids, juniors, and adult classes are at different times, though). Either for fitness, self defense, or BJJ completion you will find what you need here. Professor Penn is quite proficient and laid back, everyone is friendly and always willing to learn. The kids and junior classes make it fun to learn the art and all kids seem to really get I to it. Stop by, you wont regret it.

This is the most amazing place to go to if you are looking for self defense. Coach doesn’t leave out any details what so ever. I started here about a month ago and I really love it! The moment you walk in you notice that every one acts like family. A little quote I heard from coach today "We are all friends, we are all family. There is no such thing as losing or winning here, just training." Everyone one is extremely friendly. For anyone looking into training/Martial arts/self-defense I would definitely recommend coming here!

I take my son to the kids class and have observed the adult class. I recommend both. Coach Ken is very skilled and patient. He meets the student where they are in the learning process and is very encouraging. I have noticed my 6yo get better and better. Michelle is very kind and approachable. They both create a welcoming environment. Compared to other mma places I visited, I completely prefer this place and have been very comfortable bringing my son here. If I had the time, I would join the adult class myself.

Coach Ken and Michelle run a clean, professional, welcoming academy. I just recently started here but have trained at another gym in the past. I was welcomed and felt comfortable from the the moment I stepped inside. I am in my 40's and out of shape. Everyone from the instructor to the students have helped and encouraged me to push and do what I can. Coach Ken breaks down the techniques to the smallest detail and will walk around and make corrections or adjustments when students are drilling them. He will show you how to best utilize the technique according to your body type. Monthly rates are more than fair and no hidden costs/fees after sign up. I highly recommend you try a free class. My wife stopped by yesterday to get info and possibly enroll my son. The guys there were really cool but unfortunately my son couldn’t join the intro class due to time but the guys told my wife to stop by tomorrow before 4pm. I work graveyard so when I get home I sleep. But i woke up at 3 to get my son ready so we can go. We get there, went inside and again the guys were cool but a lady came and asked if we were there to sign up and I said yes. But I wanted to do the free intro course first. She rudely told me we couldn’t join the class because it was picture day. I let her know the guys told me to go in today and she said no that we couldn’t stay for the free class but if we signed him up we could stay. My son who was super excited was crushed and started to cry. With no remorse the lady held the door open for us to leave. It was as if she was kicking us out because their picture day was more important than taking time to apologize. Kevin who told us to stop by apologized and told us to come by tomorrow. But because of this lady and her attitude we went to enroll our son into the Gracie Barra in upland and they quickly gave us a gi to change into and my son was ready.
