The instructors here are fantastic. They teach the sport / craft, which they know inside and out, but require all egos be left at the front door. This makes it the perfect environment for children and beginners to grow into experienced martial artists alongside the many other experienced students. I was concerned when my son wanted to get into Jiu Jitsu and MMA about an unhealthy culture. That is not a concern here. They do it the right way. If a student comes in the door with that unhealthy attitude, they get it under control immediately.

Absolutely awesome place! The new location is amazing with something for everyone. The instructors know their craft and actually care about each INDIVIDUAL and their understanding of the information presented. They are able to show different variations for individuals whose body type or mobility may need adjustments to the techniques presented. If I could give 10 stars I would! Come on down and roll with us!

Excellent instructors and students alike make for a great place to learn all kinds of martial art styles. I started doing Jiu Jitsu here about 4 months ago and I’m hooked! Coach Stetson and Brad are the two i’ve spent the most time with, but they have a few other instructors and the wealth of knowledge and expertise between them all is astounding. It’s a very positive and healthy training environment, made possible by the great coaches and the mentality they teach to their students.

I signed up on day 1 in September 2021 during a very difficult time in my life. I was lost and Coach Brad, Coach Stets, and all my training partners helped me rebuild, refocus, and rediscover a better version of myself. Not only have I learned amazing techniques in mixed martial arts, I have developed real skills to be able to protect my family. The knowledge and experience that Coach Brad, Coach Stets, Coach Eric, Coach Thomas, Coach Kurt all bring to the table is beyond measurable. You would be a fool to go anywhere else other than Fat Tree Mixed Martial Arts.

From day one, I felt welcomed and supported. Training here has helped me grow both on and off the mats. As a female, I was a little nervous starting BJJ, especially since there wasn't many women in class. That said, the environment is respectful, controlled, and welcoming. Training partners take care of each other, and I’ve never felt unsafe or uncomfortable. Good coaching and a positive atmosphere.
