  I've been coming for around a year now. I can't even begin with how much this has helped me not only grow as a martial artist but also as a person. As a teenager, I was able to make many friends while also pushing my athletic capabilities. The engaging experience provided by the owner and coach Bilal, is like none other that i have experienced. He provides a lot of wisdom and experience in the world of Mixed Martial Arts. With very flexible hours, I feel comfortable to come when I want, even with my very flexible hours. One review that I saw mentioned that he didn't have much help. All he had to do was ask as I did when I was new to the sport. So maybe for him I recommend that he would have come for a little bit longer than two classes. All in all, Elevate MMA is a wonderful business and I strongly encourage anybody who would like to start or continue their MMA journey to come check it out!

  I has a bad experience at this place. When I went for two trial classes, I didn't learn anything and was left to work the bag by myself. The instructor took a hands off approach. I didn't get the impression that he was the type of person who was level-headed, as he bragged about punching a construction worker and had broken his hand doing so. The students are nearly exclusively teenagers; I only saw one or two adults training there. At minimum, one student was a "killer" as he easily out wrestled me and then proceeded to crush my windpipe. I was surprised that he did that to a complete beginner even though we had agreed to work on wrestling not bjj. On a positive note, the facility seems clean and well equipped although it is rather small. Overall I can't recommend this place for an adult beginner like myself. Perhaps I caught them at a bad time, giving the benefit of the doubt.

  I’ve trained at all the gyms in Ottawa and I’ve never experienced a place like elevate mma good fighting skills tricks and drills and pads and a great sense of community ! Coach Belal and amine are the best !

  Omg this place is amazing. My boys had so much fun in the young Muay Thai. It was beautiful to see all the coaches helping the kids. My kids were smiling and very in to it. 😂😂. With the tongue out 😂😂😂

  Elevate MMA is the perfect gym for beginners! Bilal's coaching is top-notch, and the atmosphere is so welcoming. I've gained confidence and skills in a short time. If you're new to MMA, this is the place to be!
