The BEST Jujitsu in the state of Texas. My 6 year old son loves going because of all the fun the coaches bring to class each week. Dino is an empowering environment for all kids to learn & grow. The community is welcoming & I have the biggest smile watching him roll around on the mat. I never thought we would be into Jujitsu, but I am so glad we tried it out at Dino because we absolutely love it there.

We love Dino! Our kiddos have been training almost a year now. We absolutely love Coach Marie, Coach Tim, Coach Sam and Professor Rafa, who are beyound AMAZING! Dino is our second home as our kids train in a few classes (comp class, kids class, and adult class). Our son is transitioning into the pre-teen/adult class, which my husband and I joined! No matter what age, athletic or not, you can do it! My husband and I are blessed to share the mats with our kids and have a great group of supporters/teammates/friends! ¡Oss!

Dino jujitsu is a great place! We started coming for the free homeschool class and then I started the free women’s class. After a few months we joined and have been hooked ever since. The coaches are wonderful, the atmosphere and the people at Dino make it a very welcoming place. We would highly recommend for anyone!

We love Dino JJ ! The coaches are exceptional with our kids- they are patient and firm in their teaching all while being safe. The kids learn so much about respect, resilience and discipline each week. Cannot recommend enough how amazing every coach is and the community they’ve created among the kid students!

We have toured many of the Jiu-Jitsu houses in the area and this is our home. They are great at teaching kids and they incorporate manners and values. We couldn't be happier.

I’ve been going to Dino jiu jitsu for about two months now. I felt immediately welcomed, the staff and members truly make it feel like a family environment. Whether you're a beginner in jiu jitsu, or someone who has experience there's a sense of inclusivity that makes everyone feel supported and motivated.

I love watching my daughter grow, train, and create healthy relationships with others. Dino Jiu Jitsu provides that platform and supports it. She is learning a healthy approach to life and I’m really happy we are here.

We went to the free homeschool class and instantly knew we needed to attend the homeschool Jijitsu class with Coach Marie. I'm an early retied teacher of 21 years here, and I choose my programs with great care. Coach Marie does an amazing job working with the kids. Her approach is, firm, fun, and forgiving. This is exactly what my kids need FIRM- she has fair and fun rules and holds her students accountable...but understands each child is different and has different needs. FUN-Her lessons and attitude are fun and engaging and you can tell she enjoys her job FORGIVING-She has rules and holds her students accountable, but she does so in a way that allows them to recover from their mistakes and learn. Everything I have seen at this gym has made me proud to sign my boys up for classes. We currently attend 2/3 three homeschool Jijitsu classes a week and the free homeschool class on Friday. I highly recommend this gym.

Dino BJJ is the best jiu jitsu in San Marcos! Joel, the instructor, is highly skilled and an incredible teacher. His attention to detail and care he has for his students is evident in the way he speaks and carries himself. He’s also very, very good at jiu jitsu so you’re learning legit technique! Marie is the kindest and most authentic person I’ve met, and is a pleasure to be around! The entire team at Dino BJJ is top notch and should be high on your list if you’re in the San Marcos area.

The jiu jitsu gym San Marcos has needed for years is finally here people. Whether you are a competitor who wants excellent training partners and top notch coaching, or a hobbyist who just wants a great, clean place to train with an awesome and friendly community, Dino has what you are looking for. They also have the most transparent and flexible membership terms of any gym I have ever joined. There is a whole lot to be said about that. If you’re thinking about coming in to try it out, don’t think twice!

My girls have attended class for about 2 months now! I really had no idea they would love jiu-jitsu so much or benefit from it they way they have! They are building so many beneficial skills and having a blast at the same time. Not only is jiu-jitsu just really cool, but Coach Marie is truly incredible, great, outstanding (and all the other descriptive words!) She seems to know how to challenge them at just the right level, yet help them stretch and grow more. There is nothing better than watching your kids benefiting from the great training and all around atmosphere that Dino Jiu-jitsu has to offer.

Great space, very welcoming. Marie was very helpful in getting me going with the free week trial. Professor taught at a nice pace and ensured we understood the lesson of the day.

This is more than a Jiu Jitsu gym, it is a community! I love this gym for so many reasons! First off, everyone is friendly, respectful, and supportive. My training partners have all been very considerate and mindful when rolling to avoid potential injuries and to help each other become better. Professor Joel is extremely knowledgeable in the sport and he encourages everyone to do their best and give it their all! The gym is always clean, and I look forward to training each week! Lastly, Dino Jiu Jitsu is a place for anyone! It does not matter what your age, gender, or athletic ability is. You will be able to learn Jiu Jitsu, and you will have fun with some pretty awesome people!

Our oldest 2 girls, 8 and 6 love Dino and it's the highlight of their week! Our 2 year old can't wait to turn 3 and join :) I wasn't sure how much our girls would like Jiu-jitsu but it was worth a try. The family deal plus no cancelation fee made trying it out possible. The instructor and her daughter do a great job keeping everyone engaged. I can already see an improvement in their attentiveness after just a few weeks. We've been telling friends and will continue to spread the word!

My 6 year old son Hunter just joined here recently and absolutely loves it! He loves it so much that he asked to skip school to go LOL. That says a lot because he absolutely loves going to school and never wants to miss a day. All the staff that I have met so far are so friendly and knowledgeable. Fun environment, great people. I just know that Hunter will learn so much here.

It was fun to attend the grand opening. Seeing people literally wander in from the neighborhood, then get an impromptu Jiu Jitsu lesson was great! This gym is a community resource. No sign up or cancellation fees - a truly rare business practice in the fitness and martial arts genre.
