Very supportive and welcoming environment. I started extremely overweight and no one has ever been rude about it. You can be yourself here and work to be a better version of yourself here! Weirdos like myself and normies alike are very welcome here.

Great place with great people that also train there. Very welcoming and kind to all people. Master Mac is very welcoming ,personable, and kind. My first day I noticed the environment lets you be yourself and meet you where you are at regardless, or age, gender, race or anything else. Nobody is made fun of for lack of skill, and with me being new, other training partners were very helpful, kind and patient. I recommend this place to any, and everyone

This dojo took me from never being in a fight to defending myself from being robbed at knife-point in a foreign country. They're realistic in their approach to teaching and training and they always meet you where you are fitness-wise. The best part though is that it's such a welcoming place. It quickly becomes a home where you look forward to seeing everyone. I can't recommend this dojo enough! Just come check it out for yourself and see how much you can grow!

They are welcoming, kind, and patient with my son. They also don't let him make excuses, but expect him to practice what he's being taught both on the mat and elsewhere. He's learning a lot from the coaches and his fellow classmates, and he enjoys coming here.

Instructors teach what is practical and battle tested. Learning a technique starts with simple movements, then faster, then with resisting partners, the right way. Edit: I left this review 2 years ago, it is now 2/15/2022. I stand by my review and am still attending training classes. Can't say enough good things about this Dojo or its instructors. Important to note, they have changed their name to Dark Horse Martial Arts.
