  I've been training with coach Dave for a few years now. He is one of the most knowledgeable & humble martial artists I've ever met. He fosters a positive, safe environment, exploring peoples potentials but making sure they have fun most of all. Coach Dave also welcomes people of all martial arts backgrounds. I came from traditionally practiced training and though a lot of what I started to learn at Control was new to me, coach Dave is always to make links and connections to different martial arts noting their differences, but more importantly their commonalities. Control is a wonderful place because people from all martial arts backgrounds come together and there is no "beef" or tension between people but a healthy knowledge exchange where we all continue to learn and grow. I am proud to tell people I am a part of Control Martial Arts and hope to continue my training here for a long time.

  I have been training with Coach Dave for over four years now in his Brazilian JuJitsu class. My girls now take the adult class with me and consistently comment that class ended too soon. I can think of no better glowing recommendation

  Great team of people! I spent almost a year training BJJ 4-5x a week with them during a temporary relocation. Classes are well run and it’s a clean and friendly gym! Great JiuJitsu and a wonderful place to train with lots of class times! I was an easy place to call home and family!

  The head coach here is a hidden gem. Very intelligent, skilled and passionate about martial arts as well as an all around kind human being
