Combat Sports Boston

  • I've been going to this gym off and on for years. I love the atmosphere and the community there. They have excellent combat instructors in Muay Thai, Jujitsu, wrestling and Kali stick Fighting. Great places for anyone who wishes to learn or improve their martial arts as well those who wish to compete in combat sports.

  • Best martial arts gym I’ve ever been a part of. Excellent facilities, equipment, classes, and atmosphere; the best part of this gym, however, is the coaching staff. Their experience & knowledge combined with their attentiveness to the students is what makes this gym special.

  • Highly recommended. Probably the cleanest mma club I've ever trained in. Training room has plenty of space: ring, octagon and good sized open mat and it looks like it's pretty new. Loads of kick bags too. I did Muay Thai and found the instruction from Mike very clear and corrections made to my technique were highly appreciated too. Mix of abilities in the class and everyone is catered for. Ladies - it's welcoming for women. It IS mostly men do you'll have to get over that (as with any mma club) but are a couple women there and honestly the men are welcoming and - for lack of better way to say it - 100% not creepy. Muay Thai peeps - they have a session JUST for clinching at the weekend. My technique improved about 100 fold from that single session. Amazing. Sparring was optional (you know how sometimes it's "optional" but you get dirty looks of you don't? Not here! It's genuinely optional - didn't feel any pressure). Lockers provided (bring your own padlock). The changing rooms and showers were perfectly fine too but the big investment has been made exactly where you want it - in the training room itself. Staff on the front desk welcoming and helpful. Thanks to Jeremy and Justin for their help too and to the rest of the staff for their friendly assistance.

  • You cant go wrong coming to this gym, as it will leave a lasting impression on you. The atmosphere, teachers, and students are all great factors of this gym. There are people always willing to work with you and help you out, so there is never the feeling of being left out. You will learn a lot from the teachers who always go out their to help you perfect your technique, which can later be used in competitions or real world situations. Overall the sense of family is strong here, so if you got the time come and check this gym out.

  • Absolutely the best gym in Boston. You will be coming to the right place no matter what kind of training you are aiming for, be it competitive or just casual. Two years later, I have followed the competitors path and have been nurtured. The coaching staff is absolutely fantastic you will get world class training here, they pick up on your flaws promptly, and they make you feel welcome and at home very quickly. They are all extremely qualified having competed professionally at certain times in their lives. The people who come here are also spectacular, very helpful and kind, no malicious intent while sparring. Easily the best gym in Boston. On top of that, the gym is like a family, the environment fostered is very much a home. You can't go wrong here.
