Posted 2 years agoCSA is the best martial art school I've had the privilege of attending thus far. The coaches are attentive of their students and work with you, they provide phenomenal life skills, and you get to meet some fascinating people.
Posted 2 years agoI had the privilege of training under Coach Edgar Ruiz and I must say as someone who has struggled to find high-level Sanda training in the USA, discovering Coach Edgar's gym was a game-changer. The training provided at this gym is truly top-notch. Coach Edgar's expertise and dedication to his craft are evident in every session. He possesses an impressive understanding of Sanda techniques and strategies, which he effectively teaches to his students. Under his guidance, I have witnessed significant improvements in my skills and overall performance in Sanda, boxing and k1. One of the standout features of Combat Sports Academy is the presence of a full lei tai and K1 ring. These professional-grade training areas enhance the authenticity of the Sanda training and the availability of such equipment sets this gym apart which makes it the best environment for aspiring Sanda champions. In addition to the exceptional training and facilities, Coach Edgar himself is an outstanding mentor and Coach. He is not only highly skilled but also possesses a genuine passion for teaching and seeing his students succeed. A serious gym for serious people. They offer Muay Thai, boxing, Jiu jitsu , CrossFit and a lot more.
Katie Hurd is Top Notch! Hands down the best education I have gotten, retained and shared with others in 2 hours. Katie came to our Dental Practice to educate our team on safety. She was brillant, funny and inspiring. I will be signing up for more classes, bringing my daughter and would highly recommend her and her team. Can't wait for round 2!
Csa gym is good for future
Best gym ever! I've been training in the Krav program for over 7 years, and each class is gold! The coaches are world-class instructors, and also continue to learn and bring in new information and techniques.

Crew is amazing and constantly encouraging customers to explore options that matches their styles and preferences, specially kids and teens.. Classes are scheduled consistently to ensure structure for the kids and offering planning opportunities to parents.
Love this gym. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. Never left this gym without feeling I could have tried harder.
The best place to work out in Dublin! Extremely knowledgeable and they truly care for the people that work out here, I could not praise them enough. They've given me a home to workout, relax and destress with other likeminded people who are after their goals. I appreciate everyone here and can't wait to work out every morning. 6 AM crew represent!

I got the opportunity to train here when in town for business and I can't say enough great things about this gym. Top notch facilities, outstanding instructors, friendly staff and great training partners. I wish I was able to train here more often.
Update: Reached again and got resolved it. Krav instructors are great but coming out of the recurring plan is a pain. It's been 3 months I cancelled my monthly payment but still charging my card. I called you multiple times confirming the cancellation and dropped around 10 voice mails and received no response.
Although CSA has been seen in great light, I must point something out. WATCH YOUR PAYMENT! After going to CSA for a little over a year, I had been charged extra even after cancelling my membership. This is extremely unprofessional especially since it occurred multiple times EVEN after getting ahold of them. If you have 100s of dollars to waste around then it may not be an issue to you but unfortunately for me I do not. It is a beautiful gym but unfortunately I would say that’s all it has to offer unless you’re already a UFC fighter. You won’t be getting much attention.
I visited this location with my son (12yrs) with an interest in BJJ. I called ahead to let CSA know that I would be simply watching the class. We observed the kids’ class for the first 35 minutes before we left. During those 35 minutes the group warmed up. Some kids listen to instructor others did whatever they wanted. One group played tug-of-war with their BJJ belt. In short, there was little control of the class. At the 35-minute mark of the class we left, no BJJ techniques had been thought up to that point. I hope that was just an off day and that others have a better experience than ours.
Staff is rude as hell. Especially the tall lady with the face tatts. Will not be back.
Very low energy and poor communication from the head coach. I live I Washington, I’ve heard great things about CSA from social media and classmates. I called a month in advance and was texting with a representative named “Katie” to ensure a smooth visit. When I arrived at the gym the coach said “well you should have notified us ahead of time” and gave off a vibe that I was bothering him. In my mind I was saying “just get past this and the training would be awesome” Boy was I wrong. The coach gave very minimal instructions, like he expected us to know the combinations and was on his phone for a majority of class. This was an extreme waste of my time and I’m glad my first visit was free because I would not drop a dime there. Very disappointed
The owner is very short with someone like me who is trying to inquire about new membership. He pretty much ignored me at first and had some rude comments. Finishes his statement by saying I'm not trying to insult you!! Also he was rude once before as well and I was giving the place a second chance. This is the second time he has clearly told me: THIS MAY NOT BE THE GYM FOR YOU. To anyone who else who is colored skin I clearly feel he is being racist and trying to keep ethnic folk out of his gym!
