Did my first jiu jitsu class here in April 2024 and have been hooked ever since! I started with Professor Quincy’s women’s class Wednesday nights and now utilize the membership to go to all 3 Claudio locations in Santa Cruz County. The SV location was the perfect place to begin training and I love being able to train here multiple times a week.

Great coaching and great atmosphere. This is the perfect place to get fit and learn practical self-defense or sport BJJ for both kids and adults. There's no intimidation factor here, so don't wait another day to begin training!
My 5 year old loves going to the classes. Coach Mike is very patient and great with kids. I am so glad we found them! I can see progress in just a few months.
Definitely a hidden Gem. Soo glad they opened one in Scotts Valley! My boys 7yr. Old and 9yr. Old started with Claudio França Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in S.C. 2 years ago and my boys absolutely Love it! My husband also joined in on the fun too! The best Instructors by far! Try it out and let them know The Pizarros sent ya!
The new Scotts Valley location of the Claudio Franca gym is a hidden treasure. Go there if you want personal attention and amazing instruction and training in a fun environment. It is really great to balance training between here and the Santa Cruz location. Highly recommended!
My kid and husband love taking classes at this school! Kind and knowledgeable instructors in a convenient location and super clean space. We love all the Claudio França schools and this latest addition has really added some awesome classes and great new community to our lives. Everyone is so friendly! Highly recommend you check it out for kid or adult classes!
