We are Cho Jiu Jitsu Academy located in North Aurora IL. We focus on gi and no gi jiu jistu for kids and adults. We have a passion for fitness, jiu jitsu, grappling, MMA. We want to spread a positive vibes through jiu jitsu within our community and help make people better.
I had the chance to drop in at Chi Jiu Jitsu in North Aurora, and it was an awesome experience. The instruction was top-notch, and the training environment was welcoming, focused, and technical. Even as a visitor, they made me feel welcome. Definitely a great spot for quality Jiu Jitsu!

His team is very mighty, and most importantly, he fosters an amazing atmosphere where no matter how new you are, you feel special and apart of a community. Come join Cho Jiu Jitsu Academy!

Cho Jiu Jitsu is more than just a BJJ gym, it's a community that is invested in building each other up. If you're nervous or intimidated to start training, just drop in for a class. You'll find a great group of welcoming people. Tommy the owner is a stand up guy and awesome coach.

As a woman finding a gym that isn't full of creepy guys is extremely important. Since coming to Cho Jiu-jitsu I've been supported and coached by everyone who attends and teaches in a friendly and fun environment and is super patient with beginners. My confidence is boosted, my skillset is improving and I leave every class feeling better than when I came in. I find comfort that personal progress is the ultimate pursuit in everyone I roll with. 10/10 recommend this place, will definitely keep coming!
I’ve known professors Tommy for years and he is a quality person on and off the mats. As a coach he knows his art and is very capable of conveying it. He creates a fun and safe atmosphere and I can highly recommend anyone in the area!

Incredible instruction with a very nice and clean facility. Tommy has fantastic technique and breaks it down so everyone can understand. This place is great for someone trying Jiu Jitsu for the first time, all the way up to highly experienced practitioners. We were welcomed and immediately treated like long time friends. Try it out. If you're looking for a fun and challenging way to get in shape, learn self-defense, and meet new people, I highly recommend checking out Cho jiu jitsu. They have very high quality mats for safe rolling so your foot does not catch which reduces chance of injury. Their instructor Tommy is a black belt with a lot of competition success as well, so you know his techniques are effective and proven. I believe whether you are a beginner or an experienced colored belt you would have a great time training here.
