I’ve been a student of Shifu Dan Schmidt for 20 years this November, In a world of drive-through martial arts schools that just hand out credentials without the work, the school stands mountains above the rest, training kung fu has allowed me to excel in all aspects of my life. It is taught me incredible focus, and unbreakable discipline. And all of that I owe to Shifu Dan, the ability to constantly push past your limit of what you think is possible, but also have the encouragement of someone who knows you can even more than yourself is just one quality you will find at this school. I’ve won multiple grand championships since I was 16, and I’m proud of those accomplishments , but it’s a drop in the bucket compared to how training at the school has molded me into the person I am today.

I have been training at this martial arts center since I was four years old, and it has truly been like a second home to me. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of earning my black belt in 2019 and winning two Grand Champion titles at the International Chinese Martial Arts Championship—accomplishments I wouldn’t have achieved without the incredible guidance and support of this school. More than just a place to train, this school is a family. I met my husband here when we were kids, and I’ve built lifelong friendships and connections that go beyond training. The instructor and students create an environment that pushes you to be the best version of yourself while fostering a deep appreciation for martial arts. I’m incredibly grateful to be part of such a dedicated and supportive community, and I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to grow both in skill and in character.

This is the best school around if you want to learn real martial arts. Shifu Dan Schmidt is such a wealth of knowledge that will help you discover strength and discipline that you didn’t know was possible.

Joining this kung fu school was one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health and fitness.the training is intense,fun,and incredibly effective for weight loss I Already lost 60 pounds and seem like in no time.the instructors are supportive and push you to improve, while the classes keep you engaged with a mix of conditioning,technique and discipline.not only have I lost weight, but I’ve also gained strength,flexibility,flexibility and confidence. Highly recommend it to anyone for a great workout and a welcoming community!

Best school I have ever been to. You meet great people in a group setting to train with, gain discipline, achieve a level of fitness you'd never reach yourself, recieve individual instruction, and gain some very important physical skills as well. Cannot recommend enough.

This school is the real deal. I spent a couple of years training with Sifu Dan and he is an incredible teacher. Don't waste your time with other schools. If you want to learn real kung fu and learn to defend yourself, this is your place. Having moved out of state, I have not been able to find any school that can even come close to the experience I had with Chinese Martial Arts Center. I miss this place dearly and would highly recommend it to anybody considering joining.

My son has been studying with Shifu Dan Smith since he was 5. He is more disciplined, stronger and has grown in character and strength. He loves practicing kung fu and loves his team mates. Chinese Martial Arts Center has been a blessing for us. Shifu Dan Smith is the best instructor ever and has helped my boy education in so many ways. I highly recommend this place.

I am a returning student. I am proof that you don't need to be in shape to start. Chinese Martial Arts are for anyone that is serious about reaching peak fitness while increasing strength and agility. Programs for all ages and fitness levels. World class instruction in several forms of Chinese Martial Arts. Shifu's intellect and mastery of a variety of disciplines is what makes this school unique and effective.

I love the classes! I'm over 40 and this is exactly what I need to stay flexible and fit. I can see Sifu Dan's love for the martial arts and he is friendly with a good sense of humor while teaching. There is an equal amount of 1-on-1 partner and pad work as well as forms. Thursday night sparring (optional) is half "fight night" and half bar brawl where you can put your knowledge to the test....but don't worry, no tears, everyone is having fun. Full gamut of other students, young and old, boys and girls.

Best martial arts school you can go to. If you want real training want to learn how to be a great fighter and person this is the school for you the people who go there are great and friendly people, the Shifu there I would say the best you can get trained by. One of the best places to build up you physical strength. I've bin to other martial schools in different states and I can say hands down this is the best place I've ever trained at and for the price you cant beat it. Shifu give s his attention to all students he doesn't just focus on the best kids he gives everyone there the attention they need if he sees you need help with something he will help you in getting better at whatever you are struggling with. Highly recommended school, if your not training here than your not training at all

If someone is interested in learning Chinese Martial Arts this school is a real deal school.It will transform your body and mind into the best shape but you need to put the hard work.It is also safe and very clean place .The owner,Shifu Dan,is passionate and dedicated to teaching children and adults.Great place for teenage kids to teach them discipline and respect but also hard work.You will learn there serious self defense that could save your life.

I've known Sifu Dan Schmidt for over a dozen years. I have been involved as a student with the Chinese martial arts for almost 20 years and we have trained with the same teacher. If I had to select another school to attend it would be Sifu's Chinese Martial Arts Center. His work ethic and dedication to the art through continuous learning has made him one of the finest teachers in the Chinese martial arts community . I would not hesitate to attend his school, send my children to the school, or recommend his school and teaching. If you're looking for traditional Chinese martial arts taught by an excellent teacher, you'd be in the right place at the Chinese Martial Arts Center in Seminole.

This is hands down the best martial arts school in the area! The instructor is the most knowledgeable martial artist I have ever trained with. He is in the kung fu hall of fame for a reason! What impressed me most is his kids programs. His after school program is fantastic. The kids love it and they work so hard. All the kids are on honor roll or principals list! Don’t waste your time or your child’s time at the local Mcdojo’s. You will see results with Dan at Chinese Martial Arts Center!

My son started lessons when he was 5. This has been great for us in to many ways! He loves the lessons, the instructor and the other kids in the class. We also used the summer camp and other no school camp days along with a parents night out! This kid would rather hang here than almost anywhere else! Great place!

My son has been fortunate enough to train at CMAC under Dan Schmidt for over seven years. This martial arts training has given him self confidence and a sense of belonging. The students help and encourage each other regardless of their age or past experience. I recommend CMAC for kids, teens and adults interested in Kung fu.

I've been to many other martial arts schools in the area and this one is superior. The instructor is extremely knowledgeable and an excellent teacher. The kids classes are exciting, fun and challenging; the adult classes are a great workout; and both teach the students valuable self-defense techniques and traditional Chinese martial arts styles. The students and staff are friendly and welcoming. I've been training here for years and I highly recommend this school.

My kids have been there 11 years and it's helped with their confidence, staying in TOP shape, learning discipline, toughness and keeps them busy and out of trouble . Good for adults of course for most of the same reasons. Even if you're an older student with bad knees like me. Instructor is excellent. I chose kung fu at first over the others because there is no screaming and grunting. It's beautiful and love all the weapons training. He has a kickboxing class too. Like the forms also. The Chinese Martial Arts Center offers intensive instruction in a friendly, supportive class environment. The authenticity of the school's lineage becomes evident as you progress in training. The physical conditioning is second to none and the teacher is dedicated and patient. I highly recommend!

Shi fu and his team are fantastic. Encouraging, structured, knowledgeable, caring and genuine. I have 3 school aged kids in the after school program and plan on sending my 4th when he ages into the program. They cultivate a real “village to raise a child” atmosphere. Communication is always prominent. I highly reccomend this school and staff.
