Love this establishment! Master Chang is amazing with my son. Since he has started his manners, behavior, and respectfulness has greatly improved. I highly recommend this place for all individuals looking for a great karate school!

Taekwondo here is amazing my 15 yr old daughter loves coming here almost everyday she learns a lot and is almost a black belt she’s been in for 3 years and loves every second of it!! I recommend this place to a lot of people if they wanna teach their daughters self defense, discipline, and courage!! Come check it out!
I go here and its great! I've only been taking classes for a few months but i already feel more confident and stronger. Its given me something to look forward each day. Master Chang is a great teacher and respectful person. ❤（っ＾▿＾）
Good place for martial arts
Master Chang is one of the best teacher for martial arts in the upstate. He teaches discipline and focus. He has excellent leadership skills. The location of this school is really convinient and useful for parents as it is situated in Anderson Mall.
My ten year old son, who has ADHD, has been attending classes with Master Chang for a while now, and I have nothing but good things to say. Contrary to other reviews I’ve read, the classes are varied, but sometimes repeated. Repetition is how you learn. If a child came in and learned something new at every class, he would master none of the techniques! Master Chang has always appeared well balanced when it comes to understanding which students need what. He has patience with some, and is harder on others when they are in attentive, or have to be told repeatedly about poor behavior. He is wonderful at instilling the need for focus, hard work, respect, and good behavior. I would recommend his school to anyone.
My son turned 4 on his 1st class and he would go about 30 min...and then cry and Mr Chang and staff were more then patience with him..He wasnt use to being in loud surroundings and that was the ONLY down fall for him to continue.. My son continued classes for another 4 days ..Mr Changs classes are very fun and informative for his students and when my son gets older we plan on continuing with him and his staff. He is a VERY PATIENCE Teacher and am grateful for his time with my son.
My experience at Master Chang's School of Taekwondo has been nothing short of fantastic. When I started again for the third time in my life I was 67, I didn't know if I could do it but now i'm 70 and I'll be going for my Black Belt soon. It's all about honor and respect there something the world doesn't have enough of. This is instilled in the children from the start and they take that into their every day life.
My kids attend TKD classes with Master Chang and absolutely love it. He's great at tailoring the classes to the different students' levels and has helped my little ones learn some basic self defense and self-discipline. I recommend his classes to people of all ages.
Ive been coming here for months now and ive seen that he is good with teaching the kids. They learn reapect and a way to protect themselves. Many others as i think he is a great teacher. He keeps the parents informed of everything. I am very proud to say that my child loves him and his school. Thank you master chang for all you do. I highly recommend anyone of any age to come and give it a try and he will not disappoint.
He is great with all the kids. I have my child in his class and he has done wonders with her self esteem! I recommend his class for young to older adults! I will also be joining soon.
My daughter has been taking taekwondo at Chang Brothers for over a year now, and we’ve been very happy with the quality of the instruction, and Master Chang’s teaching methods. He seems to genuinely care about the children as individuals. Highly recommend this school, for kids of all ages.
Master Chang is great with kids. My boys love him. He teaches focus, good habits and respect in addition to martial arts.
My grandchildren have throughly enjoyed Master Changs classes and have learned so much! Not only do they learn the martial arts but are taught respect and self discipline. I highly recommend Master Chang and his wonderful school!
As grandparents of 3 boys who have taken Master Chang's classes for several years we are very pleased. He goes over and beyond teaching martial arts as he explains responsibility and courtesy to them. We have observed many times so this is not second hand information. Master Chang is kind, yet firm, with his students. He stresses the importance of family and teaches discipline. We are grateful for his influence on our grandsons.
We are about to start our third year with Master Chang. I am a homeschooling mom of three boys. Master Chang has been an amazing teacher. He instills respect in each of his students and that respect has carried over into our home and schooling. Being from South Korea, he offers many cultural lessons to his students. He encourages his students and makes what he is teaching relevant to their lives at home with their siblings and with their friends at school. Before I had my boys I was a high school teacher so I seen many styles of teaching. I have spent many hours in his class as a parent the past two years and he is one of the best teachers I have seen. I highly recommend his karate class.
My son has had martial arts classes from 2 other individuals but Master Chang is by far his favorite ! He has really excelled in this class. My daughter has never been interested in karate until Master Chang. Now they are both taking classes. Highly recommended :)
My grandson went there for a short while and he enjoyed it. His mom didn't sign a contract just incase he decided to stop. And he did. Well she went through the procedures of the letter and 30 days to stop payment from coming out of my account. They charged me 2 months after and still will not refund me my money. Probably would have charged more months after but got a new debit card.
I have went against the students and teachers there before I don't even know any combat training I easily counter there moves even on the black belts and beat most of them the only reason I lose the other fights is because they try wrestling with me
I hereby rescind anything positive stated about Master Chang and his center. He claims he will teach but he has other students do the teaching and he is not even there. He states he understands family but he dies not. I pulled my son from this center in March 2019 and he still charged me for April and May. This is NOT a very ethical way of doing business especially when what you are trying to teach children to be strong in mind, body, and spirit. Master Chang your spirit appears to me to need help.
I would not recommend Chang Brothers Martial Arts Education- Anderson, SC. My family was attending with the school, but had a military situation arise. Being under contract, we had to urgently freeze the contract, a retract it. Master Chang was unwilling to consider our situation, and did not work with us in any way. This is not the way I would expect someone to treat a separated military family. Safety of the adult students were not considered in some cases. Students were training, even with medical devices. The operation of the school is not the way I would expect a respected school to conduct training.
The instructor here is very unprofessional. Doesn't take into consideration safety when working with adults. He even allowed an adult to practice in a immobilizer sling risking the safety of that man as well as everyone else in the class. For the two months I took there it was basically the same class over and over with very little new information.
