This school is the best option for children to develop confidence, leadership and discipline among other values. Master Jang is an excellent teacher who with his experience, gives children motivation every day to achieve their goals. My daughter really loves this class.
This has been the best decision that we could have made for my two children! Master John is stern and comical at the same time. He promotes focus and confidence that kids need today. I recommend CMA 100%!

Master is great with the kids! We joined when our son was 4. His progress in listening to instruction and participating in group activities is amazing to watch. I think Master does amazing things for the kids and the community with his monthly group activities. We really enjoy the friendships made among the kids of all ages and the parents! Our son was also part of the summer camp in 2024 and he’s really formed bonds among the other students which helped him acclimate to kindergarten. Not only does Master focus on technique and listening skills he also teaches the children good morals and lessons. He enjoys and looks forward to each class. He really adores Master!
I’m so glad we have CMA here in New Milford and I can’t say enough kind words about Master Jang! My son joined the school shortly after the New Milford location opened. He is 6 now and an Orange belt! Master Jang excels at helping the kids build confidence and instilling discipline through the art of Tae Kwon Do. The school also fosters a sense of community. We’ve had a birthday party here and have attended several events from Parents Night Out to the Halloween events! We are so happy to be party of this community. The location is clean, bright and very welcoming! I highly recommend!!!
My Grandson Mason has been going to Champion taekwondo for over a year now and it’s been one of the best thing that has happened to him . His confidence , attitude and focus in everyday tasks have been great . master Jeoung is loving , discipline and a great teacher of the arts .. I recommend this school for al kids

My child attends the New Milford champions taekwondo, and Master Jang has a high level of understanding of my child. There are several taekwondo nearby, but if you are unsure, I recommend choosing the New Milford champions taekwondo.
Master Jaeng is a Godsend. I saw the change in my son almost immediately. It has been 10 months and the discipline and focus in him has increased dramatically. Master Jaeng’s energy and positiveness is contagious and the kids love it.
Master Jang is an exceptional martial arts instructor who knows the right approach to bring out the best qualities of a student. My son really enjoys the class and has improved his conditioning and confidence. Master Jang is very prompt in any concerns you have as a parent and does his best to always help. I would strongly recommend this location for Taekwondo class.
Champions Martial Arts - New Milford led by Master Jang, provides an outstanding Taekwondo experience. My six-year-old daughter initially joined in September, feeling shy and nervous. However, under Master Jang's guidance, she has flourished into a strong, respectful and confident individual. The supportive environment and patient coaching nurtured her concentration, self-esteem and social skills. Master Jang's encouragement and expertise not only taught her self-defense techniques, but also has instilled invaluable life skills. My daughter looks forward to her next class and is motivated to practice what she has learned at home. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking more than just martial arts training.
Loving CMA and Master Jang. Our son can lose focus easily, and since we started, he has done a much better job in class and at home. Master Jang has a firm but loving approach that the students respond to. We had previously tried Tiger Schulmans, and it felt very disconnected. This feels like a much more individually invested community. Xander looks forward to every class. Can't wait to see how much progress he makes!
We LOVE CMA and Master Jang has been an incredible addition to New Milford. My son Austyn is so passionate, enthusiastic and genuinely enjoys each class. We are so proud of him and he is so proud of himself. He is showing great discipline both in the dojo and at home. Master Jang has helped with his focus and confidence as well. I highly recommend you try the 2 weeks trial. You won’t regret it. Master Jang is patient, calm and kind. He has a great way with the kids and we are so appreciative of The Little Tigers program! Master jang is truly a master at the craft of taekwondo and it’s shown throughout his students. My son has become more focused and centered in everything his does thanks to Master Jang and CMA New Milford NJ.

I have to share that Champions Martial Arts Taekwondo school is a very intense school. The master has respect for his students. He is a classy, professional instructor who teaches alot of focus, with discipline. He is very good with kids of all ages. He makes the classes fun for the kids and the parents watching. Great School.
My son thoroughly enjoys his time at Champion Martial Arts. His confidence is growing as months go by with training.
We recently signed our daughter up for the 7-month program after trying their two week trial class. Previously we had tried a different Tae Kwon Do studio and she hated it. It was tough to get her to give it a second try. But Master Jang has a great way with kids and is able to get their attention and interest, then keep them engaged for the entire session. Now she loves going and is into being the best that she can be. This studio is clean, well-run, and we are very happy we signed up!

First and foremost, Master Jang is an amazing teacher with exceptional people skills. From keeping the kids’ attention to maintaining discipline, they have fun while staying engaged. I believe this is a good opportunity for kids to build responsibility, motor skills, and basic fitness. No need for past experience or to be athletic, Master Jang seems to meet every student at the level they’re currently performing, and guides them towards achievement. The students hold a very clear pride towards their belts, knowledge, and abilities. You may think it’s just a white belt, but it’s a true achievement for every student who obtains one. I’d recommend tae kwon do to anyone interested. Having a great teacher such as Master Jang is icing on the cake

We started with Taekwondo trial classes and my son immediately fell in love and he asked if he could go back the next day. Now we signed him up for the full session and he is doing better every day. He kept talking about getting his trophy and white belt soon 😂 Master Jang is great! Kids love him and also respect him. The class doesn’t only teach Taekwondo but also discipline, respect, self defense and much more. I highly recommend Champions Martial Arts and Master Jang!

I took my son for a trial class and Master Jang recommended private lessons to get my son acclimated before starting a group class. I thought that was a great idea. I was told he would email us with available times for the private classes and it has been over 2 weeks and I never received any emails. It would have been nice if he followed through on his own suggestion.
