Dropped in to train with these guys while on business. This place is pretty punk rock, them and a couple other small businesses operate out of an old elementary school. Good vibes. Good rolls. Recommend.

My names sam and I've had more time off than on during my ground game journey due to injurys,substance abuse,or just not believing in myself enough.i was welcomed with friendly and safe training partners and some others that can help fix my sloppy techniques while giving me tools I never had.im just getting back on track and nursing injurys...this is a good group with a good vibe👍
I started training with Alec at Cat-Paw Grappling club about 6 months ago. I had been training jujitsu, first in Philadelphia then Livonia, since 2019, and was looking for a place to train closer to home (Ann Arbor), the lower the key, the better. I stumbled upon Cat-Paw because my daughter does capoeira next door and I’ve been Alec’s biggest fan since. I love grappling and also I’m 40 and I want to be doing this for a long time. I’m here for fun, for learning, and to make sure I can hold my own in the revolution, not necessarily to be a killer competitor. Cat-Paw is the right vibe for my needs. It’s a small, but mighty club. Help grow it! Strong recommendation based on instruction, value, other athletes in the club, vibe, etc.
