The gym had great people, aesthetics, and was super clean. Big shoutout to the awesome coach and welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely be back when I have the chance in Singapore. Best highlight of my trip!

My son has been training here for 4 months. The app is easy to use, making booking and payment convenient. Kids classes are mixed from very young age till youth. The facilities are clean and simple. Right outside the building is a bus stop. The building doesn't have coffee shops or eateries, parents/caregivers just wait outside in the corridor. Coaches are good and engaging to children. My son likes them. Would prefer younger kids and older kids to be separated so both groups can make the most of their learning experience. Older/heavier kids like my son feel constrained when rolling with 5-7 year olds if no other kids his size/age are present.

Started my son at this gym since 2019 and now the whole family is training at Carpe Diem now. We all started with zero background in any combat sports. But the coaches are very patient in guiding and teaching us. Really feel very much welcome and ‘home’ whenever we are here. It’s a happy place! Recommended for people who’s looking to train in BJJ, even if you are without any combat sports background, just like us. 👍🏻

If you’re a beginner, Carpe Diem is not the place to learn. This gym’s curriculum is not designed for someone new to the gentle art. Every session starts off with a drill , finding a partner to learn the drill and thereafter straight into sparring. No basics are taught and you’re going in blind most of the time. The head trainer did an arm bar to me and pushed till there was a crack. We’re talking about the head trainer who is supposed to be equipped in teaching and understanding when to stop, exert a move to inflict pain to one of his students. During one of the sessions, I heard him call out to a student to learn properly and not look like a ret@d. The next hour I see the student just pacing alone in a corner. Guess no damage done there too. You will have a short training expectancy when training under Carpe Diem. Of course if you’re intermediate, this might be a great place to spar but as a beginner planning to seize the day in Carpe Diem, plan to find a chiropractor the next day.

Got the trial class (unlimited sessions for a week) for my kids. Quick and very helpful details given through msging when I enquired about classes and the app to book sessions made class reservations seamless. The trainers are great with kids, they take the time to know the kids and build rapport, and I could see they also ensured the younger ones that they are in a safe environment to learn and have fun. Feedback from the children themselves: made friends at just one class and totally enjoy their time at Carpe Diem BJJ.
