Grand Opening was very impressive. The number of black-belted competitors was next-level, and plenty of skilled kids/teenagers as well. Global Martial Arts has a new neighbor with a bjj focus so not direct competition except as to BJJ but I think they will both be better off for each other relatively close by (by Texas standards, practically neighbors). Glad to see quality places like these are popping up on the regular because this seems to indicate that the sport is not reaching a plateau in our extended area (Harris County). Welcome Team Bailey!

I have been training with Prof. Mona Bailey for the better part of a decade. I can personally attest to the quality of her technique. Her new academy is gorgeous, beautiful elevated mats with a spring floor make it a pleasure to train and everyone is friendly and approachable. If you are in the Spring area and are looking for a good place to train this is it.

This is a beautiful gym with a clean, welcoming atmosphere. The staff is attentive and ensures students feel comfortable and supported, making it the perfect environment for growth in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. What truly sets this gym apart is that it’s led by the best female Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu professor in the Houston area. Her passion, knowledge, and dedication to her students are unmatched. Whether you’re new to BJJ or a seasoned practitioner, you won’t find a better place to train. The kids’ program here is amazing! My child loves it and has been learning so much while having fun. The instructors are patient, encouraging, and know how to keep the kids engaged while teaching them valuable skills. If you’re looking for a top-tier BJJ gym for both adults and kids, this is the place to be. Houston is lucky to have a gym like this!
