Great atmosphere and teachers. My kids enjoy it. Definitely recommend to new comers and seasoned veterans. Morning classes and private classes are a plus. Ask for Victor.

I have been taking the adult BJJ classes at Candal’s for about 2 years and taken a handful of private lessons. Professor Victor is extremely knowledgeable and fosters a great gym community where everyone is welcoming and helpful. As someone who was admittedly nervous to walk into a BJJ gym and try it out, I’ve been very pleasantly surprised at the skills I’ve been able to learn and how much I’ve challenged myself. Check out Candal’s! You’ll improve your fitness, learn a skill, and join a community of awesome people.

I have been training both Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai at Candal's for three months and the experience has been great. On top of that, I have lost 46 pounds in the three months since I joined this gym. Professor Victor is a very experienced and knowledgeable instructor who really loves what he does. The other instructors are great as well. This is a family like atmosphere. The more experienced students are always very quick to help out the less experienced students. We are all about helping each other get better at this gym. I would definitely recommend Candal's to anyone who is interested in training. Whether you want to compete or just achieve a personal goal, you can accomplish your goals here.

They've got classes for all ages and skill levels. The cost is very competitive in my opinion. Plus its a family owned business and they are genuinely good people who love what they do. We are grateful we found them and that they welcomed us like old friends.

We have been with Master Candal for over 7 years. My daughter Natasha started with him when she was 5, she is now 13 and his training has given her confidence, and has shown her that nothing is impossible. My youngest son is George is now one of his students, as is my wife and myself. I am 45 have lost over 100lbs following is teaching on what and how to eat. Master Candal is an amazing teacher. He has an amazing way with kids. The react to him. I will never take my kids from his teachings. I am HEALTHY thanks to him. So come on down and be part of something amazing.

I was informed of Candal’s Martial through my parents and at first I was skeptical of this place but after joining the class for about 3 months, it really is what they offer. I am only in the kickboxing class but even the class is really helpful with trying to keep you active. But don’t take it from me take it from the people who have been in class for years and If you are young like me and want to get fit but don’t know how, come try it out

This is such an awesome place to go to. Everyone is very friendly. Instructors are amazing! I highly recommend trying Candal’s BJJ MMA. My kids started going here and the workouts looked so incredible I started training myself! Awesome place!!

I have been a student of Master Victor Candal for about 8 years and my sons have been coming to his class for 10 years. As soon as you walk in you can see that this gym is like a family we all train together and create long friendships we all support one another no ego. I highly recommend this gym to anyone come try it out you will not be disappointed.

Victor is both a wonderful human being & great martial arts instructor. The environment that he fosters at his school is very welcoming & he treats everyone like they’re family from the moment he meets them; this is something that I haven’t experienced at any other school. I started my BJJ training under him 10+ years ago, and believe he had around 20-30+ years of martial arts experience already at that point. I moved away from Southern California many years ago, but if I still lived there I’d be training with him, even if I had to drive hours to get there. I look forward to the opportunity to visit and train with him again.

I started training here about 4 months ago with no type of martial arts experience, and I have been loving it so far. I'm a slow learner but everyone has been patient, teaches very well, and has been kind. Master Victor is a great teacher with positive energy and i recommend this place to train!

I just joined 2 months with no previous kick boxing experience and I'm having the time of my life working out with master Victor. If you want to stay fit, build yourself confidence, have fun and be treated as family the moment you walk in, candal's is the place for you. Victor's amazing energy gets everyone ready for an awesome work out regardless how young or old you're and at the end of the night you will always walk away with your head held high and a smile on your face.

Master Victor has been able to help me get back into shape which has allowed me to start looking great again. While being able to practice a sport this is cool and fun. I recommend for anyone to try his evening Kickboxing Classes. For this I have decided to give Candal's Martial Arts & Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy all 5 stars!

I first found out about Candal's through the city of Anaheim a little over a thirteen months ago. I wanted to try it to see if I could do martial arts or not because I am not a very physical fit person for my age. I found that training there has piqued my interest in the martial arts and it has helped to build my confidence. It is a great place for both adults and kids to learn the martial arts. The students and the instructors there are very friendly and helpful. If you do not believe me then try it for yourself and you be the judge as a free class is offered.
