It’s difficult know to where to begin. When you are looking for a place for your child to have an outside the home source for building their character to be the best versions of themselves, this is the place to be. Grand Master Kazi has an excellent approach with the kids and adults to whom he interacts. He and his entire staff treat individuals with respect and patience. They have a very family inclusive environment which everyone feels welcome and engaged. The whole Bushi ban family of other locations around seem to embody this philosophy. Our son loves going here and has made some great friends
Bushi Ban Clear Lake is amazing! I have three children enrolled in their martial arts program and the difference in their focus, self-discipline, physical fitness, and confidence levels has been astonishing to watch. What I really like is how Master Kazi and his team teach our kids life lessons through detailed and attentive martial arts instruction. They even have adult classes for parents for those who are interested. I highly recommend Bushi Ban Clear Lake for parents who want to see positive change in their little ones or learn proven self defense techniques while staying physically fit.
Both of my daughters have been enrolled in Bushi Ban for 1.5 years since our family relocated to Texas. We LOVE Master Kazi and the entire staff at BushiBan. We’ve been with BushiBan since Summer 2021 and my kids have attended both afterschool pickup & martial arts program as well as their summer camps over the years. Master Kazi takes the time to talk to the kids and get to know them. He genuinely makes them feel seen, heard, and valued. It’s been a pleasure to watch my kids grow stronger and excited about their own martial arts growth and journey.
Absolutely LOVE this place! Master Kazi and his instructors (Bryan, Sensei Z, Mr. Nick, etc) they have all been such strong role models and patient teachers. Day one of our free trial we were hooked with the energy, enjoyment, and engagement we observed with the students. They do their best to follow progress, provide feedback, and ensure their students success in martial arts. They encourage their practices being implemented at home and outside of the classroom (respect, honor, courage).
My wife and I didn't send our son to Bushi Ban to learn karate. They are excellent senseis, so he did learn, and is a Black Belt First Dan now. We are extremely proud, but that wasn't our goal. Our mission was for our son to learn the nine principals of Bushi Ban - character traits that will help him excel in every area of life. That is why we recommend Bushi Ban Clear Lake. Grand Master Kazi and his team don't just teach karate - they use karate as a way to build character and confidence, turning rambunctious kids into focused young adults.
We absolutely love this place! We’ve been coming here with my two sons for 1 year and 8 months. Master Kazi is such a great personality like a life time role model for everyone,and his team is also amazing! All trainers have strong passion and extremely patient with kids!
My 2 girls have been been coming here for about a year now and they love it. All the teachers/staff are great and its not just about the martial arts here. They instill confidence and values in them and also know how to have fun. They have summer programs and afterschool care and also have Demos at other venues/schools throughout the years. Master Kazi (Owner/Grand Master) is also the nicest dude on the planet and spends a lot of time getting to know the kids and families personally. If you're looking for a great place for your kids to learn some martial arts, burn energy, make great friends and have some fun along the way, this is your place. Cant wait for my girls to become Black Belts!!

My three year old started here not long ago. He struggled with confidence which has since significantly improved. The instructors are absolutely amazing as well. They’re incredibly uplifting and patient.
I put my now 8 and 7 years old girls back in 2022, unfortunately I am not able to commit to go every week, but I can tell it made a difference in my strong willed 7 years old who doesn't like to listen to anyone. I love this place, my kids learned dicipline and self confidence in a loving, safe and fun environment. Master Kazi and his tean are awsome. If you are looking for your kids to have a stong mind in a strong body look no further.
The teachers' energy, patience, and balance of fun and serious is really impressive. It's just what kids need to learn and grow. Sensei Bryan is very knowledgeable and is intuitive as how to get different types children engaged. Mr. Nick's energy and caring brings encouragement and motivation, especially to the young students. My children love when classes are lead by Grand Master Kazi. He is patient, kind, funny, and impressive. I'm thankful they have him for a role model in their lives. My daughters started out in the Little Dragons class and have progressed to the beginner class. One of my daughters loves to learn new moves and build her knowledge and skills. My second daughter has ADHD and she really benefits from the exercise, routine, and challenges. We're glad we chose Bushi Ban Clear Lake.
We recently tried out Bushi Ban and my little loves it! Teachers make sure to work one on one with the new kiddos which I loved. We are definitely enrolling!
This is a great place for kids to have both fun and learn some awesome skills. The trainers are really great and friendly. They show a lot of patience with kids and make them have a lots of fun while learning.
Bushi Ban Clearlake is the best Marshal Art school, especially because of its management and teachers. They encourage, love and discipline kids in such a balanced proportion. This is a great place for martial arts. The owner and other instructors care very much to teach children and adults the correct way, and do so in an uplifting and caring way. They help build students to their best ability in not only martial arts, but in many aspects. I originally came to enroll my children and ended up joining myself. I have found my life balance improve as well as my physical health. When I began, it was for fitness. I never imagined becoming a black belt and on a journey to mastery. It’s truly a family here and I can’t imagine being without it.
My son was enrolled at Bushi Ban for a few years before we moved out of the area. For extracurricular activities in Clear Lake, we miss Bushi Ban the most. Master Kazi is great with kids. I wish he would open a Bushi Ban in the Conroe area!
Excellent instructors. All the kids have a blast. Three best part is with just a few hours a week and after a 1 month my kid is listening and following instruction much better!
This is my sons 2nd year attending their after school program. I have had him in a couple different day care programs and one other local martial arts program until we found Bushi Ban. This place is run very efficiently and the kids are always kept busy and they are always being watched. Master Kazi is amazing with these kids. We like it so much my 12 year old daughter has started attending Martial Arts Classes. Prices are very reasonable compared to some of the higher priced places around us and we get more out of it than all the others. I would definitely recommend Bushi Ban over all other after school programs in the Clear Lake area.
A superb organization. My daughter started Bushi Ban 9 years ago and now has earned her 2nd Degree Blackbelt. I (dad) have now earned my 1st Degree Blackbelt. Master Kazi is a beautiful human being and we cannot say enough good things!
