Incredible place to train, very kind with the men and the women. Training is as easy or as tough as you’d like to make it and the coaches are very helpful and understanding. I highly recommend swamp academy for anyone wanting to train in the area. I drop in from time to time and I’m always expecting and getting good training in.

Stopped by while working in the area to see about drop in. Professor Ken and crew were very hospitable. Went back the next night to Gi class. Awesome crew, great place to train! Thanks guys and gals for welcoming me and great rolls! Definitely looking forward to coming back! Highly recommended for the locals.

I started training at the swamp about 8 months ago. This isn’t the first gym I’ve trained at but it’s definitely been my favorite. The community here is something that is so welcoming, a lot of different backgrounds, and people at different training levels making it a great place to learn and really craft your own practice. There is a great group of women here and they even have a women’s class every Friday night! Lots of social events to really get to know everyone including training trips down to the Ft. Lauderdale region. 10/10 recommend this place to anyone starting at any level

Have trained here for about 3 years. I found Swamp and Ken about 1 or 2 years after being in remission from stage 2 lymphoma. my first week i think i hit almost every class on the schedule (including the 6:30AM Wednesday morning class). Over the next few months i found a beauty in jiu jitsu and felt free to explore the art rather than “do it the correct way”. i really think that is what kept me going even when i would get smashed into the mat by 200+ lbs purple belts. slowly i became part of the community. after a few competitions, numerous potlucks and a couple promotions Swamp feels like a place safe from the distractions of the world. i have never once heard Ken tell someone “the right way to do jiu jitsu” (even though that’s a common question on Friday mornings from the new white belts). if you’re looking for a community where your training partners will hold you accountable and keep you sharp, this is the gym for you. steel sharpens steel. ate ó fim.

Ken and Dani are two of the best instructors I've encountered in any martial art. Ken has an extensive background in the sport, but more importantly he has created an school that makes you feel safe and can enjoy learning and practicing the sport. The other instructors are fantastic as well and they have classes for women and children. Gainesville is lucky to have an school of this caliber and I look forward to walking through the door every week.
I'm in town all week for a work conference and needed a place to drop in and train. BJJ Swamp academy was just a few blocks from my hotel so I decided to go here and I'm so glad that I did. The instructor (Kenneth) was super welcoming and the team was really friendly and made me feel welcomed. Had some awesome drills and rolls tonight. I highly recommend this academy. If I lived in the area this would definitely be my home gym. OSS!!!

Honestly, it was one of the best, if not the best, experiences I had at a BJJ gym. I came here with a friend who is a member, and they are very welcoming. The people who taught ensured that you were adequately executing the proper technique. The culture here is very positive, and everyone wants to see you get better. I highly recommend this gym to anyone, no matter what part of their journey or experience in BJJ.

Whether you want to do Jiu-Jitsu as a hobbie or competitively there are training partners for you. I go back and forth between I want to kill and I want to chill. As long as you communicate your needs, your needs can be met. The quality of your training depends on you. Ken has found a way to connect with each one of his students to best help them on their journey. The vibes at this gym are excellent. From the day I walked in here, it feels like I'm going to hangout at a friend's house. This gym offers a woman's only class. It's so fun to have the opportunity to connect with women in a male dominated sport. This gym has TONS of women. One thing I love and appreciate is Ken's approach to teaching becaus he isn't a "one size fits all" kind of teacher. He takes into consideration what your body is capable of and he has the knowledge to adapt moves or gives you alternative options that could better suit you. He offers Information and let's you choose what you want to do. BJJ Swamp Academy a great place. Its worth every penny and more. Plus the number of classes offered are massive! I’ve always thought about doing jujutsu, But I was always too worried with the time commitment, or too worried that I was going to be awful. And don’t get me wrong, I Have been doing it for two months, And it feels as if I still have 50 years of material that I can learn and master. But I have learned so much and it has made my overall fitness better and my overall confidence better and I wouldn’t have it any other way. The coaches and the people there are some of the nicest and best instructors I’ve ever met. Definitely check it out even if you just wanna try something new.
My two daughters attend the program at BJJ Swamp, and I can’t say enough good things about it! They have an amazing Group of instructors, they are not only incredibly skilled in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu but also deeply passionate about teaching and helping each child grow both on and off the mat. Best BJJ gym in Gainesville
This is very welcoming gym environment. I love Ken's teaching style, he mentions all the important details of a technique that many others leave out. Lots of mat space, and plenty of training partners of all skill levels to roll with. This gym also has a pretty robust class schedule, with multiple morning and evening classes.
Swamp Academy is the best BJJ gym in all of Gainesville. Ken the owner is an excellent coach with a massive array of skills to pass down. He is very good at altering his teaching style to cater to an individual's skill level and physical abilities. Everybody in this gym is helpful, friendly and the environment is beyond inviting. I highly recommend BJJ Swamp Academy whether you are a new practitioner or a skilled one.

I can’t say enough positive things about this gym. I send all four of my kids to train there and I know that they are taught the basics of discipline in a safe, positive, CLEAN gym environment. The gym participates in high level competitions frequently. The owner of the gym is very friendly and open to anyone who seriously wants to try BJJ. Highly recommend!!

I can confidently say this is my favorite place to be in Gainesville. From day one it was clear this gym is a family and Ken takes pride in all of his students and their growth every class. There are classes for every level including casual, advanced, kids, teens, adults, and women as well as striking. No exploitative contracts, no money-grabbing policies or required uniforms, and very reasonably priced membership. After moving out of state its even more clear Swamp Academy is a very special place.

I’ve trained here on and off for about 4 years, I have only positive things to say. The head coach Ken is highly experienced and has a deep and extensive knowledge of jiujitsu. He is accommodating and shows that he cares deeply about his students and the development of their skills. The room has a great culture, students are encouraged to step up and help teach, and a few of the regular classes are even taught by senior students. The room is highly skilled. If you are in the area, or even stopping by for a brief time I highly recommend you checkout the gym, it’s a great place to train.
I had an opportunity to train here for two weeks and it was a great experience. Ken is very detail oriented in teaching the techniques and he constantly reminds everyone to be safe on the mat. I attended a drop-in class at the Swamp with very short notice, it was a very good experience. Ken's accommodation to my last-minute request was excellent. The instruction provided was top-notch, with a focus on fine details explained in an easily understandable manner. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, and the sense of camaraderie among participants added to the positive atmosphere. Was looking to find a BJJ gym to start for the first time, called a few places and checked them out, but once I walked into the Swamp it was clearly levels above anywhere else. Ken is extremely welcoming and always looking to help you improve whether you're looking to compete or just have fun as a hobbyist. All members help to foster a fantastic environment too. There are classes throughout all days of the week so no matter your schedule you'll be able to train as much or as little as you'd like. Without a doubt the best gym in the area whether it comes to the level of instruction, the rolls, the people, the price, and everything else. My only regret is that I didn't start sooner!
I have been going to this Gym since 2021. I am a female veteran with complex PTSD. I had a very successful career in Intel and I was set to retire from the Navy but had severe trauma having been assaulted multiple times on deployment. I gave up my career and left behind a nearly 100k annual salary. As with most jiujitsu gyms there are slightly more men than women. Usually I feel very unsafe in such an environment but it is not the case here. ALL of the coaches are very understanding and compassionate. I rarely put myself in situations that even slightly resemble any of my traumatic experiences to avoid triggering a PTSD episode. Coming to this gym my first day I almost ran out when it came time to partner up, I panicked. There were many men in the room. I was having severe anxiety and was having flashbacks when one of the longtime trainers noticed and came straight to me and offered to be my partner and what she did really made a difference in my life. I now have a group of people in my life that I consider my family and I’m always excited to meet all the new trainees that come in and hopefully be that person for them. All the men at this gym are super respectful and never inappropriate. I have a very keen sense for predatory men even to the degree of being hypersensitive sometimes but NO ONE at this gym has ever stepped over the line with me or made me feel uncomfortable. To the contrary, some of my favorite training partners are my male friends here. I have read the 1 or 2 negative reviews on here and I honestly invite anyone male or female suffering from PTSD to reach out to me and have a conversation(I used my real name here just ask Ken for my number, I’ll even include my photo if you want to pull me aside for a chat without going through an intermediary). I don’t want anyone to miss the chance to become a part of such a wonderful and supportive community of people like I almost did that first day. I have only recently started PTSD counseling but before that this gym was my only lifeline and I would love nothing more than to pay it forward.
When I found BJJ Swamp Academy I was at a low point in my life. I was lost and not sure what direction I needed to go. The head instructor, Ken, was very welcoming, as were all of the students. I knew immediately there was something special about this gym. Ken has now become one of my closest friends and like a father to me. The best gym in town, super competitive rolls and focused training. The style of the gym is great for anyone looking to get in shape, get ready to compete, or learn to defend themselves. Many gyms don't train situational live drills, practice takedowns, or even touch leg locks, but they do it all at the swamp and always in a practical way that is easy to understand.

I started BJJ after being harassed on public transportation. I tried out at almost every location in the area and Swamp Academy is by far the best BJJ gym in Gainesville. Ken is an amazing professor who really cares about each of his students and has an impressive archive of knowledge on BJJ, boxing, muay thai, and MMA . The environment is very friendly and welcoming. The students at the gym are amazing making new people feel right at home. Ken’s instructions is top notch and reaches far beyond jiu jitsu and grappling. My teammates are competitive, kind, and helpful. The physical gym itself has a sense of a home to it, with its level of cleanliness and the amenities like a coffee maker and microwave. There are kettlebells, jump ropes, and heavy bags and striking equipment to use. The Swamp Academy has been my second home for the past five years. Don’t take my words for it though, come check it out!

I had the itch to learn Jiu-Jitsu during my time in college and I made an incredible decision by choosing Swamp Academy. I knew immediately over the phone that this was the place I belonged to. From day 1 I felt like family. Coach Ken created an extraordinary culture within the gym that allows the best outcome for all students. I competed in NAGA for the first time and represented Swamp Academy. I won first place and the team as a whole won first place as well. There is just something special about this place. I've trained at different gyms during my travels and nothing comes even close to Swamp Academy. The people, the gym, the knowledge. No place comes even close. If you have any doubt, erase it. Don't look any further, this is the place.
BJJ Swamp Academy is a great gym for a those new to Jiu Jitsu and those with experience alike. Master Ken offers a variety of Gi and no Gi classes as well as Muy Thai. Classes are available in the morning and evening to accommodate various schedules. Had a great time rolling this past Thursday night, attending both Gi and No Gi classes. I visited from out of town and dropped in for the night. Good lessons, and got several good rolls in with friendly folks of different belts. Highly recommend, has a solid, friendly culture with lots of friendly folks training.

Ken is easygoing and very respectful of the fact that his students have lives outside of BJJ. This creates an inviting and stress-free atmosphere in which to practice BJJ. He evaluates his students based on their technique, commitment, and character and he has high standards for all those metrics. The end result is a gym with a lot of heart and a lot of gold medals. Swamp is a super friendly gym! I got my start in bjj here and have now been training for around 6 years. This gym really has one of the best atmospheres out of all the gyms I’ve trained out. I now live and train in south Florida but always visit swamp when I’m back in town. This gym is also super friendly to women and has a ton of girls training there which is awesome!

Training with Ken and the BJJ Swamp Academy family has been one of my best life experiences so far. Me and my two buddies who were 3 months from graduating college decided to try out some bjj as a fun side hobby before graduating. Within the first week of training we gained a sense of the amazing culture and community this place has established. There are people from all walks of life, and all skill levels who are eager to help, answer your questions, and willing to go above and beyond to make you feel at home. I’m extremely sad that I won’t be able to train here everyday once I graduate and can only hope that I can find a gym nearly as cool as BJJ Swamp Academy. My grappling skills have improved dramatically since I’ve began, and I still have an EXTREMELY long way to go. Starting my bjj journey at Swamp Academy has given me a love for the sport and I can’t wait to continue building my skills, so I can one day come back and give the higher belts who keep tapping me a run for their money :)!!!
I can't say enough about Swamp Academy. The level of instruction is top notch. Ken has a lengthy competition history and is a subject matter expert. More importantly he is an excellent instructor and always takes the time to make sure each student gets the personal attention he or she needs to succeed. The facility itself is exceptionally clean. This is vitally important in grappling, as there are constantly sweaty bodies in contact with each other and the mats. At my last gym, I caught some serious skin crud from a less than clean mat. Ken is committed to a spotless facility and I just don't see those issues here. Finally and most importantly there is a culture of family at Swamp. When you train here you are part of the team and family. At my previous gym I was just another name and income stream. Here at Swamp Academy I feel like I'm part of something bigger than myself. I cannot recommend highly enough.
I cannot recommend BJJ Swamp Academy enough, and thank it for bringing a whole new source of happiness to my life. I have definitely changed as a BJJ student and as a person. The instructor, Ken, is extremely talented and honestly a great teacher, but he is also genuinely a good person that always is there to give you a fist bump. I have only been training at the gym for four months, but everyone in my life has told me that they haven't seen me this happy or excited about something. From the woman perspective, it is an incredibly safe space. Not that there are problems, but I know that if there was, I am comfortable enough to bring it to Ken's attention, and I know it will be handled properly. Although Ken is incredible, he's not the only one. There are other instructors that are also fantastic and the "curriculum" is the same, so there really isn't any confusion. If I could give this place a sixth star, I would.
I’ve been coming to this gym since June, it is a very safe and welcoming environment for anyone (I’m of the female persuasion). It really feels like family here. So great overall climate. As far as the classes I recommend taking notes because you’ll get a lot of great info every class and it might be hard to memorize it all. The classes are usually about an hour (demonstrations accompanied with drilling) and then there will be time after to freestyle roll with each other at your own discretion. The owner Ken and the other teachers are very careful about the safety of everyone here, especially the safety of the new students, and they always make sure everyone is working technique effectively but with care to avoid possible injury. They offer many classes to work with just about any schedule too so that’s a big plus.
I've tried many other academies in town and this is the only place where I really felt at home. Ken is an incredible instructor who clearly cares about his students. He is accommodating to any skill level. The other students there are also very welcoming. As a woman, I highly recommend this place for other women who are interested in learning some martial arts.
On and off, I trained for about three years at this academy. By far, it's the best place I've ever trained. Besides being an extremely welcoming and fun atmosphere, Ken is an extremely skilled instructor and the best Jiu Jitsu in Gainesville is practiced here. I was referred by a friend to come check out this gym about a year ago and am glad I did. I have thoroughly enjoyed learning under Ken. Ken looks out for newcomers and develops all his students to be a better version of themselves both mentally and physically. The students are just as welcoming and gladly will teach the move they just submitted you in and give pointers as well. My biggest regret before starting is driving past the the gym and saying to myself “ I’ll check it out.” Don’t hesitate to join! You’ll wish you started earlier. Warning. BJJ is kinda addicting. Started coming a year ago now and I Flipping love this place. I needed to replace the competitive side of high school sports for me and BJJ has been the solution. Ken (the owner/coach) is the nicest guy but holds a respect from his students that I really admire. The majority of the people here come to blow off steam from their day to day lives and it's dang cool to be a part of. And if you're looking for to be the best of the best in Florida, you've found the right place.
BJJ Swamp Academy is a great place to train. As someone who started the sport later in life, I was concerned about safety and injury. The school has something to offer everyone—from the older, more casual student to the younger or intense practitioners. Ken has been so helpful and welcoming! I have never done anything with Brazilian jiu jitsu, but Ken has been very kind and guiding, and I really love the classes. I highly recommend this to all my friends, especially women who want to feel a little safer at night. Not to mention how fun they are!
I have been here for a little while now and I would definitely like to say its become a second home to me. The instructor, Ken, takes his time explaining techniques to everyone and tries his best to make sure its easily understood and repeatable. Everyone in the gym is ready to go hard when grappling, but are also able and willing to go light if need be. Even the other higher belts are more than willing to help teach/answer questions. As a woman in a sport that seems to have a lot of men, I am really glad of the other females in the gym, but also I am glad I can beat up some of the guys on occasion too. ^^ Size doesn't matter when you utilize your body type to its advantages, and there are so many different body types that Ken even teaches knowing everyone can't do everything. The environment is incredibly positive here, with everyone supporting your journey no matter what has happened or who you are. We have doctors, nurses, scientists, students, artists (and more) that train here regularly. I am grateful for the ability to practice skills in a safe environment as well as the ability to test them out at competitions. This is the only school in town that competes regularly, but we don't act like a competitive school since a lot of the people here are hobbyists as well.
If you want to start JiuJitsu do it. However, you must accept that in some schools all you will get out of it is that- JiuJitsu. Swamp Academy is by far the best school I have stumbled upon because not only is the training technical, challenging, and fun, but because it offers so much more than the martial art that many have made the centerpiece of their lives (and for good reason). The culture of Swamp is by far the most friendly and welcoming I have been to, while maintaining its roots in what combat is all about. This culture stems from the top in its owner and head instructor, Ken. Ken is a wizard in all things combat and he imparts his knowledge by not only being an instructor, but a coach. An instructor will show you a technique and let you run with it, while a coach will give you the tools you need and push you farther than you will push yourself to achieve your goals. He has tailor made all of his students JiuJitsu game by taking into account each of their personalities, abilities, and goals. Ken is not only a great coach, but an interesting and powerful man. I encourage anyone who steps into his school to engage him in a conversation, pick his brain, and share a few good laughs with him, you will not exit that conversation with anything but good feelings. I cannot recommend the melting pot of violence, fun, hard work, and authentic people that resides in Swamp Academy enough.
I have been training at Swamp Academy for a year and have never practiced a martial art that has had such a positive supportive atmosphere between the students and it's instructor. From day one, I have never felt singled out or uncomfortable. Everyone at the academy is very inclusive and is willing to go out of their way to introduce themselves, help, and keep everyone safe throughout training. Because of this atmosphere I recently started bring my 14 year old daughter. She absolutely loves it and everyone is willing to train and work with her and treats her with respect as they would with anyone else who trains. Professor Ken has his lineage laid out on his website and has his black belt certificate displayed along with his numerous metals around the academy so there is no doubt that he has put in his time in. In addition to this, his instruction is staggered for beginners and advanced students who may be in the same class which further builds and displays the inclusiveness from the instructor down. Professor Ken treats everyone with respect and is humble and is willing to have life conversations with you if that is your thing. There is so much much more that I can say about this academy. I see my self staying with Professor Ken as long as I am in Gainesville which I plan to be a very very long time. I can not recommend enough coming to train at BJJ Swamp Academy. It will teach you more than just a martial art.
This place is awesome and super friendly. Very family oriented and the instructors are super knowledgeable and will pour so much into you. I thoroughly enjoy going here every single day. Very safe for women and children as well.
Super fun classes with friendly people and detailed instruction from Ken. I came for the exercise and self defense, but was surprised at the social atmosphere where it didn’t feel like just another jiu jitsu gym.

I'm usually not one to write a review, but I would feel selfish if i didn't. To be blunt "BJJ Swamp Academy" is why I still live in North Central Florida. (As a nurse i can work literally anywhere) Kenneth Panagiotakos is a master of his craft and is by far the best instructor I've had in my BJJ experiences. His style of teaching is what separates him from other instructors. From his methodical breakdown of all techniques/strategies to there are no "dumb questions" attitude keeps all students engaged and encourages commitment. But This alone isn't why i'm writing this review... Ken has established a culture for his members. The sense of community is very strong and very positive. This isn't some "meat-head" gym full of egos. This is a family/community that goes beyond just our training sessions. Ken orchestrates activities and events for his members that only strengthens the bond we establish in the gym. I have traveled as a nurse and have been to various gyms along the way; while many of those gyms are the same... BJJ Swamp Academy stands alone at the top.
9 months ago, I stepped onto the mats at BJJ Swamp Academy with ZERO martial arts, wrestling, or grappling experience. Today, I am looking ahead to competing in my first tournament. To say it was easy to get to this point would be a lie. Even after the first few months, I debated if this sport was for me. I would not have stuck around had it not been for Ken and this gym. Ken is an intuitive instructor that picks up on his students’ individual learning styles and needs. He manages to keep classes at a constant pace while simultaneously spending one-on-one time with individuals that could use an extra tip or guidance on the side. Ken is just as good at figuring out your areas of need as he is at pointing out your strengths and helping you capitalize on them. He creates a welcoming environment that encourages questions and he will push you as far as you want to be pushed, because he understands that everyone’s personal goals are unique. Great coaching leads to a great gym. As much as Jiu-jitsu seems like a solo sport, you simply cannot grow without your training partners. Your gym becomes your team, and your training partners double as your competition and your teammates. Somehow, everyone at Swamp Academy is simultaneously really nice AND absolute killers on the mats. While there is a ranking system like every other gym, upper belts do not have superior attitudes and do a great job working with us newbies and our endless questions. There is so much respect among members and it translates to an environment that you can feel comfortable in, even though you are most likely being put in physically uncomfortable positions. And that about sums up Jiu-Jitsu: It is uncomfortable. There is sweat, body hair, and even some body odor. You are put in uncomfortable positions and if you don’t have the skill or the speed just yet, sometimes you just have to use pure grit to get out of them. Pushing myself out of my comfort zone, dealing with adversity on the mats, and learning to use my body to my advantage has been incredibly empowering. So if you’re looking to challenge yourself like never before, this is the gym for you. The benefits are immeasurable.
I’m a fairly serious Jiu Jitsu/ MMA fighter from California, but travel to Gainesville quite often. Just recently a friend took me to train at BJJ Swamp academy, and I had a really awesome experience! The head coach Ken comes from a lineage of Jiu Jitsu legends, and it was obvious from my visit that he offers very high level instruction. I’m super pumped to come back and train at this Academy! I’ve been training here for about 4 weeks now it has been a great experience Ken seems very concerned about the gym and making it a community of people interested in BJJ. An ideal environment to foster knowledge, skill, friendship, and the warrior spirit. Ken is not only extremely knowledgeable in his craft but is also an individualizing coach who can make a class of 20 feel like a class of 5. Easy going and relaxed but also conforming to your personal needs and desires for the sport. I would recommend this gym to anyone trying to become a better version of themselves.
Totally recommend this gym to train! The head instructor Ken is really attentive to each individual there whether you’re experienced or just beginning. He truly cares about your growth in the sport and as a person. This is the gym to go to if you want more than just a gym but family!
Coming as a complete beginner, I felt immediately welcome. The atmosphere is very friendly and people are supportive. The instructor is both attentive, as well as inspiring with his energy, know how and sense of humour. Definitely recommend!
I just started here a few weeks ago. But let me tell you how unique of an atmosphere it is! Ken is such a humble and welcoming instructor that it really is impossible to feel overwhelmed or intimidated by training here. Ken and so many of the people here really do feel like a family. I'm really excited to get started.

When I started bjj two years ago I didn’t know what to expect but the moment I walked into Swamp Academy I knew I found the right place. Ken’s an amazing coach who not only pushes you to be a better athlete but also a better person. He’s managed to create a great environment to learn. His hard work truly shows in every student there. Everyone is welcoming and willing to help. I would definitely recommend Swamp Academy to anyone who is interested in trying this sport either as a hobbyist or as a competitor.
Disclaimer: I’m not giving an awesome review of this amazing gym just to be entered into a drawing. I’m writing it because I feel strongly for how great this gym is. I’ve been at this gym on and off for several months, and in the little amount of time I have spent there, I have gained a tremendous amount of confidence. It’s sort of this wonderful package deal because you can become more physically fit, learn how to protect yourself, and basically be treated like family. Not only do you gain experience fighting, but you gain some incredible friendships. As a woman (and as a feminist) I can vouch for how safe I feel at this gym, which is by the way (in my opinion) the best gym in Gainesville. Great atmosphere, and a great instructor which helps you grow and play to your strengths. He may not show it, but he pays attention to every one of his students, and makes his best attempt to help his students become better fighters.

Great instructor. He's really invested in teaching you and answering questions. If you ever pull a muscle, he has ice packs and doesn't hesitate offering a massage to work the cramp out of a muscle. The instructor Ken has about 15 years experience and if you put the hard work in, you're going to progress in your ground fighting ability and get in great physical shape in the process.
Not as inclusive as the reviews make it seem, actually fairly clique-y & the air is wrought with egotism, sort of like a high school gym class as opposed to an understanding learning environment. I have sensory issues & am dyspraxic due to the fact I'm Autistic and generally need more time to learn. I do not need to disclose this to be treated like I'm "not paying attention" because I'm in a new environment that is overwhelming me given it's my first time in it. Also given I did disclose I have C-PTSD & starting to have a trauma response I felt like that should have been enough. Not trauma-informed at all. I left feeling embarrassed and had a meltdown in my car. Pretty disappointed.
If you are you a beginner I would not recommend this gym. First day we did not start with basics. I was wrapped up with men and women who had been training for years. I felt the coach was not eager for new people in his gym so I did not feel welcomed. The other trainees were very welcoming on the other hand and tired to help me as much as they could with learning techniques.
