  Visited Checkmat in Berlin a few times with a friend. Really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and well-structured training process. The coaches are professional and attentive, and the classes are suitable for all skill levels. Highly recommend!

  The basic course is very friendly to beginners, explaining self-defense techniques, position practice, and having enough partners in terms of height and weight. Highly recommended! Oss 🥋

  Loved the atmosphere! The team was super friendly, and the professor was very nice. Even though I'm just visiting, I highly recommend this gym to anyone because they are incredibly welcoming!

  I have been training for some months here, and it has excelled my growth. Amazing coaches and good sparring partners of all levels bring up the community in a friendly manner. I specifically like that the coaches structure the class appropriately when there is a local competition.

  What a nice place! This gym has made me happy I took a gi on my work trip. A Brazillian competitor was teaching during my stay, and the school has lots of higher belts; hence, lots of good practice! Girls were a minority (as usual), but the culture in this gym has made want to come back despite busy schedule. I am returning to Australia with some nice techniques and concepts. Thank you, Markus, Jack, Juan, and the team!
