Nick was the catalyst for my entry into the world of jiu-jitsu when he was a blue belt and he was training at different school where I was doing Muay Thai only. His passion for the sport was infectious, and his encouragement gave me the confidence to take that first step onto the mat and give jiu jitsu a try. I'll always be grateful for his role in sparking my interest and setting me on this rewarding path. From the moment he introduced me to this art, he was always a very encouraging and hands on coach and mentor showing up to countless competitions to corner me. His support and camaraderie have been invaluable to me.
Many years later, I am a jiu jitsu referee, and I have the privilege of witnessing firsthand the exceptional coaching of Gabby and Nick to their own students. Their dedication to teaching people of all ages and skill levels is truly commendable. If you are in Southern Delaware and could train at their school, you will not be disappointed.
I love dropping into Bayside when the schedule gods allow! These guys are all great and super welcoming. Im always sending friends there with their kids that are interested in BJJ as well! Highly recommend.

Great atmosphere and very inviting group. My son and I both train at Bayside and can't say enough about how it just feels like a team environment. Everyone of the members are there to learn and make each other better, not hurt one another. The kids program is awesome and my 5 year old son loves it! To make it even better, they have free trial classes!
This is a great gym with such an inviting and friendly environment!!! The staff here are a wealth of knowledge and will go out of their way to make your experience a positive one.
This is a great delaware jujitsu option for those south of Dover. I visited Bayside and had top tier instructions from instructors Nick and Gabby. I'm 43 and my son is 13. We both had a great experience while visiting Bayside. I would highly recommend their gym to anyone, especially beginners looking to take their first class. Strong Vibes at this gym!
The owner Gabby is the best! Such a great crew of people at this gym. You will feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door. Whether or not, you are a beginner or a seasoned competitor you will get the instruction you are looking for at Bayside! They have an amazing kids program too. Bayside jiu-jitsu is a part of The Tradewinds Network which gives members access to training at 5 different academies in the PA, DE, NJ area. 5 stars for Bayside!!!
